Nasopharyngeal cancer self-test in 30 seconds

There is no 30-second self-diagnosis method for nasopharyngeal cancer. Nasopharyngeal cancer is a malignant tumor that occurs in the nasopharynx. The early symptoms of nasopharyngeal cancer are not obvious, but it can be detected early through the following methods, such as observing nasal congestion or nosebleeds, tinnitus or hearing loss, headaches, neck lumps, and blurred vision or double vision. However, it is still necessary to seek medical attention and do relevant examinations in time for a specific diagnosis.

1. Nasal congestion or nosebleed: Persistent nasal congestion or frequent nosebleeds may be early symptoms of nasopharyngeal cancer. If you have persistent nasal congestion or nosebleeds, you should seek medical attention in time and undergo a detailed nasopharyngeal examination.

2. Tinnitus or hearing loss: Nasopharyngeal cancer may affect hearing, causing tinnitus or hearing loss. If tinnitus or hearing loss occurs, you should go to the ENT department for examination to rule out other possible causes.

3. Headache: Frequent headaches, especially those accompanied by nasal congestion or tinnitus, may be related to nasopharyngeal cancer. If you have frequent headaches, you should see a doctor as soon as possible to have your head and nasopharynx checked.

4. Neck lumps: Nasopharyngeal carcinoma often causes swollen lymph nodes in the neck and painless lumps. If you find a neck lump, you should seek medical attention immediately and undergo a lymph node biopsy and other examinations.

5. Blurred vision or double vision: Nasopharyngeal cancer may compress the optic nerve and cause vision problems. If you experience blurred vision or double vision, you should go to an ophthalmologist for a checkup to rule out compression of the optic nerve.

To reduce the risk of nasopharyngeal cancer, you should pay attention to the appearance of these symptoms, seek medical attention promptly and undergo detailed examinations.
