Early symptoms and characteristics of melanoma

The early symptoms of melanoma are mainly distributed on the surface of the skin. It is a highly malignant tumor disease that is likely to develop into skin cancer. Therefore, it is important to understand the early symptoms of melanoma , identify them in time and seek medical treatment to avoid worsening of the disease.

(1) Skin edema. One of the early symptoms of melanoma is edema of the skin around the lesion, or loss of original skin luster or turning white or gray.

(2) Rough skin surface. Rough skin surface, accompanied by scaly or flaky desquamation, and sometimes exudation or bleeding, is also one of the early symptoms of melanoma.

(3) Changes in skin edges. Early symptoms of melanoma also include changes in skin edges, such as jagged changes, which are caused by the spread of the tumor or spontaneous degeneration.

(4) Abnormal sensation. Patients often experience itching, burning pain, or tenderness on the skin. If such abnormal sensation occurs, be alert to the possibility of melanoma.

The early symptoms of melanoma mainly include the above characteristics, which seem to be relatively easy to distinguish. However, for the elderly, due to their poor physical fitness, their skin cannot maintain the smoothness and whiteness of their youth, so the early symptoms of melanoma are also difficult to distinguish.
