Why does eye pain cause headache?

Headache is the symptom that people are most likely to experience when they encounter troubles in life. These symptoms are caused by pressure on the head. Therefore, people who are under too much stress are most likely to suffer from headaches. For many people, headache symptoms often do not appear alone, but are accompanied by other symptoms. For example, some people will experience eye and head pain, etc. Let’s take a look at why eye pain is accompanied by head pain?

A headache, also known as a headache, is a mild condition of severe pain in the head; sometimes neck pain may be interpreted as a headache. Headache usually refers to pain localized in the upper part of the head, including the area above the line connecting the brow arch, the upper edge of the helix, and the external occipital protuberance. Headache is a syndrome and one of the clinical manifestations of many diseases.

Common causes of headaches and eye pain include:

One is neurological disease. In addition, patients with autonomic dysfunction and certain neuroses often suffer from headaches.

The second is ear disease: such as ear disease that affects balance and causes headaches.

The third is internal medicine diseases: such as hypertension, hypotension, various cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, anemia, infection, poisoning, hypoglycemia, etc.

Fourth, cold: Sometimes a cold may be accompanied by symptoms of headache. Frequent headaches are not a small problem. If headaches are not taken seriously, they can cause eye pain, etc. They should be taken seriously and treated.

Relieve eye pain:

1. Pay attention to eye health and actively participate in outdoor activities. After using your eyes for half an hour continuously, it is best to stand up and rest for 5 minutes, gently close your eyes, and do eye exercises; look into the distance, and visual fatigue will be relieved immediately.

2. Do not read under vibration or shock conditions, and do not read at night; the reading time should not be too dark or too strong; the brightness and color of the TV screen should be moderate, and it should be adjusted in time when the image is unclear; the time in a dark environment (such as projection, slides, etc.) should not be too long.

3. Wear corrective glasses that suit you. The distance between your eyes and books and computer screens should be about one foot (33 cm). The posture for reading should be correct, and pay attention to adjusting the height of the table and chair.
