Cervical cancer may be induced by some viruses

Cervical cancer may be induced by some viruses. Many studies have proved that viruses can directly affect the occurrence of cervical cancer. Do you know what other causes of cervical cancer are? This is a question that people ask a lot. Let the experts explain it to you in detail.

The main causes of cervical cancer are as follows:

(1) Viral infection There are many types of viruses that can cause infection in the female lower reproductive tract. The relationship between viral infection and cervical cancer has been studied for decades. So far, it is believed that three types of viruses may be related to the occurrence of cervical cancer: herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2); human papillomavirus (HU); human cytomegalovirus (HPV);

(2) Fungal infection and other factors Clinically, it has been observed that cervicitis is closely related to the occurrence of cervical cancer. Cervical erosion is an important risk factor because cervical cancer most often occurs in multiparous women, and often occurs in the eroded area and torn part of the cervix. Fungi are one of the causes of cervicitis and cervical cancer. In addition to being carcinogenic, they can also produce carcinogenic toxins and synthesize carcinogenic nitrite with secondary amines and nitrites.

(3) Endocrine factors Whether sex hormones promote the occurrence of cervical cancer has been a research topic for many years and is also the cause of cervical cancer. Animal experiments have successfully induced squamous cell carcinoma in mice using estrogen, but there is no conclusive evidence that exogenous estrogen can induce cervical cancer in humans.

(4) Sexually transmitted diseases Before the 1960s, it was believed that patients with syphilis had a high incidence of cervical cancer, but direct evidence that syphilis causes cervical cancer has not yet been found. Trichomonas vaginitis often coexists with cervical precancerous lesions or cervical cancer. Parfen et al. found that patients with atypical cervical hyperplasia and Trichomonas vaginitis have an increased chance of transformation into invasive cancer, and have successfully infected animals with Trichomonas to induce cervical cancer. However, both are sexually transmitted diseases and can coexist, and the vaginal pH of patients with atypical cervical hyperplasia is often alkaline, which is conducive to the growth of Trichomonas. Therefore, it cannot be confirmed that Trichomonas infection can induce cervical cancer, which is also the cause of cervical cancer.

(5) Cervical cancer often occurs in women of low socioeconomic status, probably because malnutrition affects the defensive ability of cervical mucus. In addition, different living habits in different regions may also affect the incidence of cervical cancer. Women's low immune function, negative mental factors, smoking, etc. may all be causes of cervical cancer. Smokers are twice as likely to develop cervical cancer as non-smokers.

The above is the explanation given by experts on the cause of cervical cancer. I hope it can help you answer your questions. Experts suggest that some diseases have no early symptoms or are not obvious. For your health, the best way is to have regular physical examinations to detect the disease as early as possible and prescribe the right medicine.
