Are parasites visible to the naked eye?

Everyone is particularly afraid of some parasites. There are many kinds of parasites on the human body surface and internal organs, such as the well-known red worms and roundworms. These parasites can seriously affect human health. In addition, people usually eat beef, pork, etc., which also contain parasites. Eating meat infected with parasites is relatively dangerous. So can parasites be seen with the naked eye?

Can parasite eggs be seen with the naked eye?

The eggs are invisible to the naked eye, but the adults can be observed with the naked eye. If you suspect you have a parasitic infection, you must go to the hospital for examination.

The translucent small vesicles are 6 to 10 mm long and about 5 mm wide. The vesicles contain cystic fluid and there is a milky white nodule on the cyst wall, in which a head segment is embedded. The cysticercosis is embedded between muscle fibers and looks like scattered beans or rice grains. Therefore, people often call pork with cysticercosis "bean meat" or "rice meat".

The eggs of the red worm are very small and look like rice grains to the naked eye. They can easily flow in the blood.

Guidance:

: The red worm is insensitive to enteric worm clearing. It has a suburb for pumpkin seeds. Once infected, cysts will form in the liver and brain.

It can be seen that intestinal parasites are divided into two categories: protozoa and worms. The parasites mentioned here are specifically the latter.

Note during inspection:

1. To check for pinworm eggs, use a transparent film swab to swab the eggs from the wrinkles around the anus at 12:00 at night or before defecation in the early morning and immediately examine them under a microscope.

2. When counting parasite eggs, feces should be collected within 24 hours. The former should be carefully searched or sieved from all the feces, and then the species should be identified; the latter should be mixed and then checked. Requirements before inspection:

1. Because it is not easy to collect enough specimens from infants and young children at one time, if it is necessary to collect them in batches, please temporarily store the specimens in the refrigerator to avoid bacterial growth. Unsuitable crowd: There is no unsuitable crowd.

Ascaris eggs are difficult to identify with the naked eye, but the diagnosis can be confirmed by detecting the eggs in the patient's feces. For patients whose feces do not contain worm eggs but whose clinical manifestations are suspected of ascariasis, anthelmintic therapeutic diagnosis can be used, and identification can be made based on the morphology of the worms excreted by the patient.
