Differential diagnosis of cervical cancer

Differential diagnosis of cervical cancer

In recent years, cervical cancer has become one of the major diseases that endangers society and human health, and it has brought great pain and distress to humans. In order to reduce the incidence of cervical cancer, we humans should master the differential diagnosis of cervical cancer:

Uterine fibroids:

1. Excessive menstrual bleeding and intermenstrual bleeding: especially when a submucosal uterine tumor occurs.

2 Pain: Generally, the pain is just dull, unless the uterus itself needs to expel the submucosal uterine fibroids, causing uterine contraction.

3 Compression symptoms: Uterine fibroids can compress the bladder, ureters, blood vessels, nerves and intestines, causing various effects on the operation of these organs.

4 Infertility: Uterine fibroids can affect the structure of the uterine cavity and the operation of the endometrium, making implantation difficult. However, there are also patients with uterine fibroids who can still conceive and give birth normally.

Uterine corpus cancer:

1. Vaginal bleeding: Persistent or irregular vaginal bleeding occurs after menopause; those who have not yet reached menopause may experience excessive menstruation or irregular bleeding.

2. Vaginal discharge: A small number of patients have increased watery or bloody discharge in the early stages of the disease, and in the late stages when necrotic infection occurs, foul-smelling purulent secretions may appear.

3. Pain generally only occurs in the late stages. When the cervical canal is blocked by cancerous tissue, causing blood or pus accumulation in the uterine cavity, lower abdominal distension and pain may occur, or the cancer may stimulate uterine contractions and cause pain. When advanced cancer infiltrates the pelvic wall, low back and leg pain may occur.

The above are the diseases that are easily confused with cervical cancer. Expert Tips: If you have symptoms of disease, do not delay diagnosis and go to a regular hospital for treatment in time to avoid delaying the disease and causing serious consequences.
