How to face cervical cancer

In recent years, cervical cancer has become a major disease that endangers human life. It has brought great pain and distress to humans. Experts say that due to the different locations and ranges of the lesions, the early symptoms of cervical cancer vary. What should female friends do if they have cervical cancer? Please tell us.

Anticancer chemotherapy: Currently, radiotherapy and surgery are still the first choice for cervical cancer treatment, and their efficacy is certain. Anticancer chemotherapy has a low remission rate and cannot be used alone to achieve the purpose of cure.

Radiotherapy: Cervical cancer is moderately sensitive to radiation and is suitable for the treatment of carcinoma in situ and all invasive cervical cancers, especially for patients with stage Ib cervical lesions larger than 3 cm or stages II-IV.

Experts say: Generally, patients with cervical cancer are treated with surgery. Surgical treatment can be used for patients with early cervical cancer before stage IIa. Its advantages are: during laparotomy, the scope of cancer invasion can be further estimated, so local cancer can be removed more thoroughly to prevent recurrence; young patients can also selectively retain ovarian tissue; surgical cure rate is high, and surgical techniques are constantly improving, with fewer complications.

1. Surgical treatment of invasive cervical cancer Surgical treatment of invasive cervical cancer is only suitable for stage Ia to IIa. Scope of surgery Hysterectomy can be performed in stage Ia, and radical hysterectomy should be used in stage IIa to IIa.

2. Treatment of cervical carcinoma in situ Surgical treatment of cervical carcinoma in situ can be performed by cervical cone resection, radical hysterectomy and subradical hysterectomy.

In the early stage of cervical cancer, there may be no obvious symptoms or special signs. The earliest symptom is often vaginal bleeding, which often starts with a small amount of contact bleeding. After menopause, there will be intermittent bleeding or an increase in the amount of leucorrhea, which is bloody or purulent. In the late stage, there may be heavy bleeding, cachexia, weight loss, fever, anemia, and symptoms of surrounding compression caused by cancer invasion, such as lower abdominal pain, back pain, frequent urination, urgency, anal swelling, tenesmus, lower limb swelling and pain, sciatica, etc. In severe cases, it can lead to uremia, systemic failure, and life-threatening. Similarly, using a speculum to directly observe the cervix, it is difficult to see abnormalities in the early stage, but when the lesions are obvious, local lesions may be erosions, ulcers, cauliflower-like growths, nodules, cavities, or even endogenous depressions. Diagnostic curettage and pathological examination of the cervical canal can confirm the diagnosis. The metastatic pathways of cervical cancer are mainly direct invasion and lymphatic metastasis, while hematogenous metastasis is rare and often occurs in the late stage.

Through the above introduction, what should we do about cervical cancer? We need to find it early and receive treatment early, and never delay the disease. Expert Tips: If your body shows symptoms of the disease, you can choose the appropriate treatment according to your symptoms, but do not delay the diagnosis, and do not let your life be ruined in hesitation. You should go to a regular hospital for treatment in time to avoid delaying the disease and causing serious consequences.
