If the macroscopic specimen shows that the cancer is located in the lower segment of the uterus, the treatment of uterine cancer should be carried out within the scope of stage II surgery.

(III) Those who are not prepared for lymph node dissection: The treatment of uterine cancer routinely involves exploration of the pelvic and para-aortic lymph nodes. Those with enlargement should at least undergo a biopsy. If the technical conditions permit and the patient allows, lymph node dissection can be performed.

The survival rates after 5, 10, 15, and 20 years of observation were 85.9% to 88.8%, 82.5% to 85.8%, 81.4% to 84.8%, and 77.3% to 81.7%, respectively. This shows the effectiveness of surgical treatment. Surgery can clarify the scope of the lesion and correctly perform clinical staging.
