Mandibular block anesthesia

Mandibular block anesthesia

Mandibular block anesthesia requires that anesthetic drugs be injected into the mandibular nerve. It needs to be performed under the guidance of a professional physician in a regular hospital to reduce trauma to yourself.

Mandibular block anesthesia usually involves applying anesthetic drugs to the inner wall of the mandible, followed by tooth extraction surgery. When multiple teeth are extracted from the oral cavity at one time, local anesthesia can be chosen to reduce the pain caused to oneself. If infiltration anesthesia fails, tooth extraction surgery can also be performed using mandibular block anesthesia, which usually takes effect in about 5 minutes. After the anesthetic wears off, there may be mild local pain, which can usually be tolerated. During anesthesia, you need to open your mouth wide to allow the local surface to achieve balance. You can directly inject anesthetics by piercing the mucosa with a needle.

If there is impacted wisdom tooth or pericoronitis of wisdom tooth in the mouth, the tooth needs to be extracted surgically. It is also possible that the tooth in the mouth has been severely damaged and cannot be treated by conservative methods. In this case, the tooth needs to be extracted surgically and then dental implants can be chosen.

After tooth extraction surgery, you also need to maintain good oral hygiene to avoid infection. Your diet should be light and easy to digest, and you should avoid eating hot peppers.
