Generally, even if there are no other symptoms and the fever persists for a long time, the cause should still be checked. Consider checking whether there are abnormalities in the blood routine erythrocyte sedimentation rate, and also consider checking the urine routine and liver and kidney function to see what the situation is. Then apply appropriate drug treatment. 5. Repeated fever is a normal reaction of the body to fight against pathogen infection. The methods of reducing fever include physical cooling. When necessary, you need to take oral antipyretic drugs or give infusion treatment. It is best to go to the hospital for a check-up. Conventional antipyretics only reduce fever and do not treat the pathogens that cause the disease. For example, when bacterial pneumonia causes high fever, antibiotics are first needed to control the bacteria, thereby achieving the effect of completely reducing inflammation and fever. If only antipyretics are used, the body temperature can only be lowered temporarily, and then rise again after a while, resulting in repeated use of antipyretics.
