Especially some uncommon disease problems, such as post-traumatic stress disorder, which is a disease problem that everyone is not aware of. But it should be related to the human body's immunity, because once the human immunity starts to decline, all diseases will come at will. But what are the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder?

1. Traumatic re-experiencing symptoms

The main manifestation is that the patient's thoughts, memories or dreams repeatedly and involuntarily appear situations or contents related to the trauma. Severe emotional reactions may also occur, and the patient may even feel as if the traumatic event is happening again.

2. Avoidance and numbing symptoms

The main manifestations are that patients long-term or persistently avoid events or situations related to the traumatic experience, refuse to participate in related activities, avoid traumatic locations or people or things related to the trauma. Some patients even experience selective amnesia and cannot recall the details of events related to the trauma.

3. Symptoms of increased alertness

The main manifestations are hypervigilance and increased startle response, which may be accompanied by inattention, increased irritability and anxiety.

4. Other symptoms

Some patients may also exhibit substance abuse, aggressive behavior, self-harm or suicidal behavior, etc. These behaviors are often manifestations of the patient's psychological and behavioral coping methods. At the same time, depressive symptoms are also common comorbidities in many PTSD patients.

5. Symptoms and characteristics of PTSD in children

Children's symptoms of traumatic re-experiencing can manifest as nightmares, repeated re-enactment of traumatic events, playing trauma-related theme games, and becoming emotionally agitated or sad when faced with related prompts. Avoidance symptoms in children often manifest as separation anxiety, clinginess, and unwillingness to leave their parents. Hypervigilance symptoms in children often manifest as excessive startle reactions, high vigilance, attention disorders, irritability or anger, and difficulty falling asleep. Moreover, children of different ages may experience different manifestations of PTSD.
