Symptoms of gastric bulb ulcer

Symptoms of gastric bulb ulcer

There are many patients with stomach problems in our lives. Most of them will feel stomach pain during their lives. When it is unbearable and severe, it is likely to cause gastric ulcers. Gastric ulcers are one of the common stomach diseases. When gastric ulcers occur, the gastric mucosa will be damaged. Therefore, gastric bulb ulcers are very serious and must be treated in time. So what are the symptoms of gastric bulb ulcers?

Gastritis refers to various inflammatory lesions of the gastric mucosa caused by different causes and is a common and frequently occurring disease. According to the anatomical site of the lesion, it is divided into antral gastritis and body gastritis. Antral gastritis is the most common, and most of them are caused by Helicobacter pylori infection; body gastritis is rare and is mainly caused by autoimmune reaction. The main manifestations are: prolonged illness, repeated attacks, but lack of specific symptoms. The main symptoms are persistent or upper abdominal distension or pain after eating, belching, heartburn, and loss of appetite. Some patients may also experience rhythmic pain in the upper abdomen, or may have no symptoms. People with gastric mucosal erosion may have repeated small or heavy bleeding. Long-term small bleeding can cause iron deficiency anemia.

Gastric ulcer mainly refers to chronic ulcer occurring in the stomach and duodenal bulb. Since the formation of ulcer is related to the digestive action of gastric acid and pepsin, it is called peptic ulcer. The occurrence of ulcer is the result of an imbalance between the defensive protective factors and the damaging attacking factors of the gastrointestinal mucosa.

Main manifestations:

1. Upper abdominal pain: Chronic, recurrent, rhythmic abdominal pain is the main characteristic manifestation of ulcer disease.

2. Other gastrointestinal symptoms: such as belching, heartburn, drooling, nausea, vomiting and other manifestations of indigestion.

3. Systemic symptoms: There may be insomnia, sweating, bradycardia, etc. Severe pain that affects appetite may cause weight loss and anemia. As for the specific medication, it is best to use it with caution under the guidance of an expert doctor.
