Acute myocardial infarction stages

Acute myocardial infarction stages

Acute myocardial infarction is a very common disease of the human heart in real life. It can easily lead to breathing difficulties, dizziness, and temporary shock, which is very harmful to the health of the body. Acute myocardial infarction is also divided into stages, namely the acute phase, onset phase, and recovery phase of the disease. Acute myocardial infarction requires timely treatment and regular maintenance.

Acute myocardial infarction stages

1 Myocardial infarction is a disease caused by ischemia of the heart, which leads to whole-body dysfunction and can pose a great threat to our lives. We must pay attention to correcting some bad habits in our lives so that we can stay away from these diseases and live a healthy life.

2 Myocardial infarction is divided into four periods, mainly the hyperacute period, acute period, subacute period, and recovery period. We must pay attention to the fact that the treatment methods are different in each period. We must grasp the acute period well, so that patients in the recovery period will recover better.

3 At each stage, we mainly diagnose through electrocardiogram. If the patient has an acute illness, our first task is to ensure the normal functioning of the heart, so that we can treat the patient as much as possible, and formulate treatment plans based on the different characteristics of each stage.

Precautions

Therefore, we must pay attention in our lives. Once a disease such as myocardial infarction occurs, we must go to the hospital for treatment in time, because this disease is relatively harmful to our body.

Causes

Most patients have coronary atherosclerosis and stenosis. Due to certain factors, the coronary atherosclerotic plaques rupture, and the platelets in the blood gather on the surface of the ruptured plaques to form blood clots (thrombi), which suddenly block the coronary artery lumen and cause myocardial ischemia and necrosis. In addition, a sharp increase in myocardial oxygen consumption or coronary artery spasm can also induce acute myocardial infarction. Common causes are as follows:

1. Overwork

Excessive physical labor, especially climbing stairs with heavy loads, excessive physical activity, continuous stress and fatigue, etc., can increase the burden on the heart and suddenly increase the myocardial oxygen demand. The coronary arteries of patients with coronary heart disease have become hardened and narrowed and cannot fully expand, causing myocardial ischemia. Severe physical stress can also induce plaque rupture and lead to acute myocardial infarction.

2. Excitement

It is triggered by intense emotional changes such as excitement, tension, and anger.

3. Overeating

Many cases of myocardial infarction occur after overeating. After eating a large amount of high-fat, high-calorie food, blood lipid concentration suddenly increases, leading to increased blood viscosity and increased platelet aggregation. Thrombosis forms on the basis of coronary artery stenosis, causing acute myocardial infarction.

4. Cold stimulation

Sudden cold stimulation may induce acute myocardial infarction. Therefore, patients with coronary heart disease should pay great attention to keeping warm. The cold seasons in winter and spring are one of the reasons for the high incidence of acute myocardial infarction.

5. Constipation

Constipation is very common among the elderly. Clinically, it is not uncommon for elderly people to suffer myocardial infarction due to holding their breath due to constipation. The elderly must pay enough attention to this and keep their bowel movements smooth.

6. Smoking and drinking heavily

Smoking and heavy drinking can induce acute myocardial infarction by inducing coronary artery spasm and increasing myocardial oxygen consumption.
