Why do my teeth bleed when I wash my face

Some people experience bleeding gums when they brush their teeth, while others experience bleeding teeth when they wash their face. When washing your face, you may consider that you use too much force and poke the two cheeks, causing bleeding gums. It depends on whether there are abscesses in the mouth, or whether there has been infection and breeding. If there is frequent bleeding teeth, you should consider that it is caused by a lack of vitamins and dirt on the teeth.

treat

① Nutritional supplement: There are many reasons for bleeding, so the cause must be found out in order to effectively prevent and treat it. If you are deficient in vitamin C, in addition to taking vitamin C tablets under the guidance of a doctor, you should also pay more attention to supplementing your diet with foods rich in vitamin C and eat more fruits and vegetables. If it is periodontitis, you must take anti-inflammatory drugs under the guidance of a doctor and go for follow-up visits as ordered by the doctor. You cannot stop taking the medicine at will.

② Teeth cleaning: Everyone is familiar with ultrasonic teeth cleaning, which is aimed at removing dental calculus. Because dental plaque is more likely to cause the accumulation of dental plaque, leading to gingivitis, bleeding gums, and periodontal disease, removing dental plaque is a medical procedure. Of course, during the treatment, the calculus on the tooth neck and adjacent surfaces is removed, and the teeth will also appear whiter. The disadvantages of teeth cleaning are that it is painful, causes a lot of bleeding, and the tooth surface becomes rougher after cleaning, causing stains and tartar to reappear more quickly, and there is also the possibility of infection.

③Biological absorption treatment. The method of use is to hold it in your mouth, then brush your teeth and rinse your mouth.

④Choose a suitable toothpaste. In fact, bleeding teeth are closely related to improper choice of toothpaste. If you neglect the protection of your gums in daily care, it is very likely to aggravate the deterioration of dental diseases.

prevention

① If the irritation and bleeding is caused by poor oral hygiene and a large amount of dental plaque and tartar (this situation is the most common), you can go to the dental department and ask the doctor to clean your teeth, remove the dental plaque and tartar (commonly known as teeth washing, medically known as scaling and scraping), and take oral antibiotics for 1 week. The gingivitis will disappear quickly and the bleeding will stop. Generally speaking, even if there is no gum bleeding, you should have your teeth cleaned once every six months to a year.

② If the bleeding gums are caused by residual roots or crowns, the residual crowns and roots should be removed and dentures should be replaced later; if the bleeding gums are caused by poorly made braces or poor restorations, new braces should be made or the teeth should be re-filled.

③ During menstruation and pregnancy, women should pay attention to maintaining oral hygiene. Usually after menstruation and pregnancy, gum bleeding can be significantly reduced.

④ Choose a new type of health toothbrush, avoid brushing your teeth horizontally, and use the vertical brushing method to prevent irritating the gums and causing bleeding.

⑤ If there is large-scale spontaneous gingival bleeding of unknown cause, you should go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible to determine whether there is a blood system disease. Especially for hidden blood diseases, we must pay great attention, find out the causes from multiple aspects and deal with them in time.

Brushing your teeth can only remove 25% of dental plaque. The remaining 75% of dental plaque needs to be thoroughly cleaned by using dental floss and mouthwash. It is recommended to use a purely herbal mouthwash that does not contain alcohol.
