How to make Phnom Penh rose tea

In addition to symbolizing love, roses can also be used to make tea. Drinking rose tea can beautify the skin and promote detoxification, which is especially helpful for women. Roses are divided into many types. The most common are red roses, and there are also pink and relatively rare white roses and blue roses, gold-edged roses, etc. Gold-edged roses are very effective in making tea. So how should this tea be brewed?

First of all, you can use porcelain, pottery, or glass tea sets to brew Phnom Penh rose tea. At the same time, the water should be of good quality, mineral water, pure water or mountain spring water is better.

When drinking hot golden rose tea, you must warm the teacup first to prevent the temperature from dropping quickly, so that the tea aroma can fully dissipate. In addition, because golden rose has an astringent effect, people with constipation should not drink it. When brewing golden rose tea, it is not advisable to use water that is too hot. It is generally better to rinse with boiling water that has been left for a while. Put five flowers each time, and it is best to add three candied dates. It is both beautifying and slimming. You can brew it with boiling water from a water dispenser. Use boiling water if you have time.

In addition, the color of the boiled golden rose and candied dates will be darker than that of the steeped ones. If you want the ingredients in the tea to evaporate better, just boil them for three minutes each time. Generally, it can be soaked three to five times.

In fact, the brewing method of Yunnan Phnom Penh Rose Tea is no different from the general rose tea brewing method. It is also necessary to control the water temperature and pay attention to the soaking time. The specific method is as follows:

Take about 8-10 grams of golden rose tea and put it in a cup, add 350-500 ml of boiling water, soak for about 10 minutes, and then you can drink it.

During the brewing period, it is best to cover the cup with a lid to make the tea flavor stronger. Wait until the tea turns slightly yellow, then taste it carefully.

When drinking, you can add sugar and honey according to your personal preference for better results. If you add honey, you need to let the rose tea cool to room temperature, otherwise it may change color.
