Mild migraine

Mild migraine

Everyone knows that migraine is a very common symptom in people's lives, but migraine can also be divided into mild migraine and complex migraine according to the severity of the cause. Moreover, most people suffer from mild migraine symptoms. The symptoms of mild migraine are that a person often experiences headaches in life, but this phenomenon is not particularly serious. So what should you do if you have a mild migraine?

If it is a mild migraine and the attacks are not very frequent, it is okay to take medication to control and relieve it. However, for some stubborn and intractable migraines, conservative medical treatments are often ineffective. Moreover, if painkillers are taken for a long time, they will also have great side effects on the body, damaging the digestive system, damaging liver and kidney function, and reducing the body's immunity. Therefore, for stubborn migraines, you should stop taking medication for a long time and instead undergo surgery to eradicate the problem.

Microvascular decompression is currently being used to treat migraine and has achieved great success with good clinical results. Microvascular decompression is to find the compression points of blood vessels and nerves under a microscope, remove the responsible blood vessels that compress the nerves, and wrap the nerves with anti-adhesion membrane to complete the decompression. When the nerves are no longer compressed, the migraine will be completely cured. Microvascular decompression is a treatment for migraine with minimal trauma, quick recovery, short hospitalization time and low cost.

Mitigation methods

1. Drinking water: A person's body needs to drink at least ten glasses of water every day to achieve peak physical performance, and dehydration is a common cause of headaches.

2. Food: The time interval between meals and snacks should not exceed five hours. Between each meal, a person's blood sugar will drop, causing blood vessels to dilate.

3. Pay attention to the amount of coffee and tea you drink: too much or too little caffeine can cause headaches.

4. Write down what you eat: Chocolate, vinegar, frozen meat and many other foods contain substances such as tyramine and nitrates. These chemicals can cause headaches in people who are prone to allergies. Therefore, if you have a headache, you should pay attention to what you eat.

5. Reduce drinking: Drinking can lead to dehydration. Red wine and brandy, like cheese and chocolate, contain tyramine, which can cause headaches.

6. Don’t take too many painkillers: Excessive use of drugs can cause rebound headaches. If you suspect this is the cause of your headaches, stop taking your painkillers for a while to see if the headaches stop.

7. Don’t sit for a long time: Watching TV or reading will keep you in a fixed position for a long time, causing pain and tension in your head and neck muscles, so you should rest for 5 minutes every 40 minutes.

8. Get rid of negative emotions: The accumulation of anger or disappointment can cause headaches. If this is the cause of your headaches, you should find a way to vent or go outside for a walk to untie the knot.

9. Take good care of your eyes: Reading for too long under dim light will put pressure on your fragile eyes and cause headaches, so you should make sure that the lighting in your reading environment is sufficient and take a break every once in a while. If you wear glasses or contact lenses, you should have your eyes checked regularly to ensure the degree is correct.

10. Regular work and rest schedule: Too little or too much sleep can cause headaches. The time to go to bed and get up should be the same every day.
