How to use a new kettle for the first time

Drinking hot water can promote human metabolism, regulate body temperature, and is very beneficial to human health. Therefore, many people now pay more and more attention to drinking hot water to protect the body. In order to store hot water, we will use a thermos. Before using the newly bought thermos, some preparations need to be made, otherwise the thermos will have a short life or poor insulation effect. So how should the new thermos be used for the first time?

1. Pour a little warm salt water or warm water with vinegar, and then shake it evenly so that the inner pot is heated evenly.

2. Pour out the empty water bottle and then fill it with boiling water.

3. Pour out the boiled water after leaving it for a few hours. To remove odors from the bottle stopper, soak it in tea or white vinegar before use, then pour fresh boiled water into the bottle and it can be used.

The structure of a thermos flask is not complicated. The middle part is a double-layer glass bottle. The space between the two layers is evacuated into a vacuum state and plated with silver or aluminum. The vacuum state can avoid heat convection. Glass itself is a poor conductor of heat. The silver-plated glass can reflect the heat energy radiated outward from the inside of the container back.

Conversely, if cold liquid is stored in the bottle, this type of bottle can prevent external heat energy from radiating into the bottle.

The stopper of a thermos bottle is usually made of cork or plastic, both of which are poor conductors of heat. The outer shell of the thermos flask is made of bamboo, plastic, iron sheet, aluminum, stainless steel and other materials. There is a rubber gasket at the mouth of the thermos flask and a bowl-shaped rubber pad at the bottom of the bottle. These are used to fix the glass liner to prevent collision with the outer shell.
