I believe that many families will have a worry, that is, a very small moth often appears in the bathroom. These small moths generally grow in the bathroom. It is a kind of small insect that breeds. There are small flying insects in the sewer of the bathroom, which are generally moth flies. The removal methods are as follows:

[Environmental sanitation method] Use a small brush to scrub the sewer outlets and tile wall gaps in the kitchen, toilet, and bathroom every 10 to 15 days to scrub away the moth eggs or pupae hidden in these places. This is the best prevention and control method.

[Chemical method] Buy aerosols that are effective against flying insects and crawling insects in the supermarket, and spray them at the moth flies; or spray them around garbage cans, sewers, at the bottom of washing sinks, etc. where moth flies are likely to breed, to kill the larvae of moth flies. However, chemical drugs have no killing effect on the eggs and pupae of moth flies.

[Physical method] Use an electric mosquito swatter to swatter mosquitoes in places where they can be seen with the naked eye.

Use pyrethroid drugs to spray the walls and floor of the bathroom, which can generally last for more than 15 days. This type of insect is mainly produced in the home by flying up from the sewer pipes. The sewer pipes must be effectively isolated with a tightly sealed real odor-proof floor drain. The vegetable basin, wash basin, washing machine, shower room, toilet, etc. must also be sealed, and no exit should be left. This way, the flying insects can be isolated in the sewer pipes.

First, we need to understand where the bugs come from. Many people think that the bugs flew in through the elevator door, and some people think that they breed in the toilet, but this is not the case. The real source of small flying insects in the bathroom is the sewer outlet, that is, they fly in from the floor drain.

The floor drain is connected to the main sewer pipe of the building. If the sewer pipe is a steel pipe, it will easily breed flying insects as it ages and rusts, and the flying insects will fly into the house along the floor drain.

It can be seen from this that to deal with small flying insects, we must start from the source and start from the floor drain. The most obvious way is to replace the floor drain. There are many types of floor drains on the market, with different prices, ranging from tens of yuan to hundreds of yuan.

The water-sealed floor drain is what really prevents insects. There is a U-shaped pipe in the floor drain. Every time water flows, a small section of it will remain, so flying insects will not fly up through the water flow. However, water-seal floor drains have certain height requirements. Some buildings are too old and water-seal floor drains cannot be installed. When purchasing floor drains, everyone must first inspect the conditions of their own sewers.

If you cannot replace the floor drain, there is also a simple trick. You can use a small plastic bag, open the cover of the floor drain, then press the plastic bag under the cover, and then pour a little water on it to form a simple water seal. However, using the floor drain is more troublesome.
