What's wrong with low fever_What's the reason for low fever

Everyone's physical condition is different, so the feeling when having a fever is also different. However, when you are in the low fever stage, you should generally try to avoid taking some medicines, because these medicines will have very serious side effects after taking them, which is particularly bad for our body. Therefore, when you have a low fever, you should try to take some physical methods to reduce fever. So what is the low fever?

How to deal with low-grade fever

1. Massage acupoints

Press the Tianshu point hard on both sides for 2 minutes. Repeatedly to promote the reduction of low fever. In addition, if accompanied by headache symptoms, you can massage the Fengchi point, Fengfu point and the entire scalp at the same time, which can reduce fever and relieve headaches.

Acupoint location: Tianshu point is located two inches away from the navel. Fengchi point is located on the neck, below the occipital bone, in the depression between the upper outer edge of the trapezius muscle and the upper posterior edge of the sternocleidomastoid muscle. Fengfu point is located on the neck, 1 inch directly above the middle of the hairline.

2. Physical cooling

(1) When you have a low-grade fever, it is more appropriate to apply warm water to help dissipate the heat. Prepare warm water, the hot water temperature should be around 30℃. Undress, wet a towel, and rub your body up and down with the warm towel. Change towels every 10-15 minutes.

(2) There is nothing more relaxing than taking a warm bath. It can also help relieve fever symptoms. Taking a shower with hot water can actually help cool you down, just like drinking more warm water can detoxify you and lower your temperature. Generally speaking, you can take a bath when your body temperature is around 38 degrees, but the water temperature should not be too high. 32-34 degrees Celsius is more suitable. You should also eat something before taking a bath to prevent hypoglycemia. After bathing, dry your body and put on clothes as soon as possible to avoid catching a cold, which will aggravate the condition. In addition, keep an eye on the water temperature. If the water is cold, add some hot water in time.

(3) Use a sponge to wipe your entire body; evaporation can also have a cooling effect. After squeezing out excess water from the sponge, wipe one area at a time, keeping the rest of the area covered with clothing. Your body heat will evaporate this water, helping to dissipate the heat.

Note: Although alcohol evaporates more easily than water, it may cause discomfort to patients with fever. Do not wipe with alcohol. Furthermore, inhaling alcohol vapor or even absorbing alcohol through the skin is not good for the patient.

(4) Cold compresses can also be used to help lower body temperature. Place a cold wet towel on your forehead, wrists, and calves, and cover other parts of your body with clothing. When the cold compress reaches body temperature, it should be changed and repeated until the fever subsides. You can also wrap ice cubes in a cloth bag and place it on your forehead.

3. Replenish fluids

When you have a low fever, you should pay attention to replenishing fluids, such as boiled water, vegetable juice, scented tea, etc., to help sweating and prevent dehydration. Water has the function of regulating temperature, which can lower body temperature and replenish water loss in the body. If a low-grade fever is not very serious, drinking more hot water can relieve it. The best way to test whether you are drinking enough water is to see if the color of your urine is clear.

4. Dietary remedies for low-grade fever

(1) Select 30 soybeans and 30 black beans and wash them. Put soybeans and black beans into the medicine pot together, then add a large spoonful of white sugar. Pour three bowls of water into the pot. When three bowls of water have been boiled into one bowl of water, pour out the medicine soup and you can take it. This recipe is effective in treating persistent low-grade fever. It can also play a preventive role in normal times.

(2) Boil 30 grams of honeysuckle, 15 grams of isatis root, and 1 raw radish in water and drink it as tea.

(3) 30 grams of Artemisia annua, 9 grams of mint, and 6 grams of raw licorice, decocted in water and taken as tea. It is very effective for treating symptoms such as low-grade fever and headache caused by summer heat cold.
