Many people don’t know much about meditation training. The so-called meditation training refers to entering into contemplation, which is a kind of purification of body and mind. It can completely relax the body and make one's mind healthier. Meditation training is best carried out with the help of a coach. There are many training methods, which are also good for health.

Meditation training

1. Following the Breath Method: Let your mind and breathing go in and out naturally, with your heart and breath dependent on each other, and your mind and energy following each other without interference. This is called following the breath.

2. Breath counting: silently count the number of breaths, from one to ten to one hundred, count “exhale” for real breaths and “inhale” for empty breaths.

3. Listening to the breathing method: Listen to your own breathing with both ears and eliminate distracting thoughts.

4. Breath-watching: Observe and experience your own breathing like an observer.

5. Breathing Stopping Method: Through practicing any of the above methods for a long time, you can develop a soft, slow, fine and long breathing method. The breathing was as thin as a thread, appearing and disappearing. It's called cessation. Also called fetal breathing.

6. Zen sayings to enter meditation: (repeat silently several times) Experience and associate with the artistic conception of "sitting alone by the stream and letting the water flow".

7. Relaxation and tranquility method: silently say the word “tranquility” when inhaling and silently say the word “relaxation” when exhaling.

8. The method of observing the mind and calming down naturally: Use your mind to observe, perceive, and analyze your own thoughts and distractions. Let the thoughts and distractions flow without interfering. After a long time, you will naturally become calm and peaceful.

Training Examples

First, find a place and time where you won’t be disturbed.

1. Sit up straight. Don't lie down; you might fall asleep.

2. Fast before meditation.

3. You don’t have to sit cross-legged, you can also sit on a chair.

4. Taking a shower beforehand can help with meditation.

5. You don’t need to light incense or candles, but doing so can create some atmosphere.

6. It is best to meditate in the morning.

When you first sit down, your mind may be as confused as a pot of porridge. However, the mind can be tamed and focused on one point. One helpful technique is to focus your attention on the flame of a candle. Narrow your vision and eliminate distractions. If you become distracted, immediately return to the candle. You can also use other things like a small dot or flower. The key is to focus on one thing at a time. Repeating a sentence over and over like chanting a mantra can also help you concentrate.

Once you have learned to concentrate, you can move to the next step: think about nothing and have no distractions. It is difficult to do this, but there is a way: whenever a thought pops into your mind, you should consciously throw it out. After a while, you will learn how to block out distractions. You are no longer controlled by various thoughts and you begin to find your true self.
