Specific drugs for treating brain cancer

Brain cancer is a common malignant tumor. There are many drugs available for clinical treatment of brain cancer. At the same time, they also need to pay attention to drug contraindications. Pregnant women, infants and other special groups need to be more cautious in choosing drugs. Here, we recommend several commonly used drugs for brain tumors for patients, hoping to help brain cancer patients with their medication.

1. Ingredients of elemene injection: The main ingredients of this product are β-, γ-, δ-elemene mixed solution, and the auxiliary materials are soybean lecithin, cholesterol, ethanol, disodium hydrogen phosphate, and sodium dihydrogen phosphate.
Function and indication: This product combined with conventional radiotherapy and chemotherapy can enhance the efficacy of lung cancer, liver cancer, esophageal cancer, nasopharyngeal cancer, brain tumor, bone metastasis and other malignant tumors, and reduce the toxic side effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy. It can also be used for interventional, intracavitary chemotherapy and the treatment of cancerous pleural effusion and ascites.
Dosage and Administration: 1. Intravenous injection: 0.4-0.6g once a day, 2-3 weeks as a course of treatment. 2. For the treatment of malignant pleural effusion and ascites: generally 200mg-400mg/m2, after the pleural effusion and ascites are drained, inject into the pleural cavity or abdominal cavity, 1-2 times a week or as directed by the doctor.
Contraindications: Use with caution in patients with high fever, pleural effusion and ascites combined with infection.
2. Nimustine hydrochloride for injection Ingredients: Nimustine hydrochloride.
Functions and indications: Relieve the subjective symptoms and signs of the following diseases: brain and neck cancer, brain tumor, lung cancer, digestive tract cancer (gastric cancer, colon/rectum cancer, esophageal cancer), malignant lymphoma and leukemia, etc.
Dosage and Administration: Common dosage: 2-3 mg/kg body weight/time, dissolved in water for injection (5 mg/ml), intravenous injection. Then stop the drug for 4-6 weeks according to the peripheral blood picture, or 2 mg/kg body weight/time, intravenous administration, give it once every 1 week, after 2-3 weeks, then stop the drug for 4-6 weeks according to the peripheral blood picture... This product should be used immediately after being prepared into solution.
Contraindications: Use with caution in the following patients: 1. Patients with impaired liver function. 2. Patients with impaired kidney function. 3. Patients with concurrent infections. 4. Patients with water beans (sometimes with fatal systemic disorders).
