What happens when exposed to the sun?

The sun is the source of all life. Why do I say that? If there were no sun, the earth would probably be a dead planet. Because the sun not only makes the earth very warm, it is also a necessary condition for the growth of all things. However, there are still some rays in the sunlight that are harmful to the human body, and long-term exposure to the sun is definitely unhealthy. So what happens when it's exposed to the sun?

1. The pros and cons of ultraviolet rays on the human body

(1) Ultraviolet rays are necessary

Excessive exposure to ultraviolet rays can damage the skin, but human health cannot do without ultraviolet rays. In countries with insufficient sunshine, there are many orthopedic diseases. Babies will not grow strong if they do not sunbathe, as the human body needs an appropriate amount of ultraviolet rays.

(2) Sunburn is a type of burn

The sun disease we are talking about is caused by excessive exposure to the sun and does not include normal sunbathing. Although sometimes the degree is very slight, it is undoubtedly a state of dehydration.

On sunny days, just walking outside for two or three hours will cause your skin to become red and sore, and protruding parts such as the nose will become oily. Probably everyone has this experience. It's a state of dehydration, a very mild burn. If you feel a burning pain, it is a real burn. If you are sunburned to this extent, you can no longer use cosmetics and should go to a dermatologist for treatment. If the degree is still mild, as an emergency measure, you can use cold water to cool the skin, just like treating burns, to calm the burning sensation and allow the skin to gradually recover.

(3) Tanned skin is like cutting open a loaf of French bread: the inside is white, soft and moist, while the surface is well toasted and hard. In terms of the skin, the hardened area is the stratum corneum, which is called keratin hyperplasia. The crust of bread becomes soft when water is added, but becomes hard again once the water dries up. It would be terrible if your skin became like this.

2. Methods to prevent ultraviolet rays

(1) Emulsion foundation cream has the best sun protection effect. Currently, emulsion foundation cream has the best sun protection effect. Apply it a little thicker and it will be quite effective in blocking UV rays.

Foundation, whether powder or liquid, forms a thin film on the skin. But the powder type is too dry, the liquid type is moist but dries too quickly, and the emulsion type is made of two ingredients: water and oil. It can maintain the temperature for a long time. Apply some emulsion foundation cream before outdoor sports. Otherwise, freckles and brown spots will appear on the skin under the scorching sun.

(2) Apply sunscreen

To prevent sun exposure, you can also apply foundation cream on your shoulders, chest and neck, but it may get on your clothes if you are not careful. It is best to use sunscreen. The effectiveness of sunscreen can only last for two or three hours. If you do outdoor sports for a long time, you must be diligent.

(3) To get the perfect tan, you need to use sunscreen. If you want to get the perfect tan, you need to apply a thin layer of sunscreen to all parts of your skin that are exposed to the sun, forming an oily film on your skin. Apply all over the skin for comprehensive protection, prevent skin moisture loss, keep skin moisturized, and prevent excessive exposure to the sun. Here I would like to recommend you a new concept of whitening and sun protection - "whitening isolation cream film". It uses membrane isolation to achieve sun protection. When ultraviolet rays pass through the isolation film layer, part of the light is reflected out, and part of the light that is harmful to the human body will become infrared rays that are beneficial to the human body after passing through the isolation film, so that the skin will not be burned. The whitening isolation cream film does not contain chemical sunscreens, so there is no need to worry about the carcinogenic effect of chemical sunscreens on the skin after degradation. But you must be diligent and replenish it frequently. Because over time, the sunscreen will be washed away by sweat.
