Fire needle treatment of hemangioma

Fire needle treatment of hemangioma

Hemangioma is a very common disease in daily life. It often manifests as congenital benign tumors or vascular malformations in the skin and soft tissue. The well-known photodynamic therapy and superconducting interventional therapy are both very good methods. In fact, fire needle treatment of hemangioma also has significant effects, but the operation method requires special attention. It is best to be performed by professionals. Friends in need can try it.

1. Hemangioma

Hemangioma is a congenital benign tumor or vascular malformation commonly found in the skin and soft tissue, formed by the proliferation of angioblasts during the embryonic period. It is more common in infants at birth or shortly after birth. The residual embryonic angioblasts and active endothelial-like germs invade the adjacent tissues to form endothelial-like cords, which are then connected to the remaining blood vessels after tubulation to form hemangiomas. The blood vessels within the tumor form their own system and are not connected to the surrounding blood vessels. Hemangiomas can occur anywhere in the body, with those occurring in the oral and maxillofacial area accounting for 60% of all hemangiomas in the body, followed by the trunk (25%) and limbs (15%). Most of them occur in the facial skin, subcutaneous tissue and oral mucosa, such as the tongue, lips, and floor of mouth, and a few occur in the jawbone or deep tissue. It is more common in women, with a male-to-female ratio of approximately 1:3 to 1:4.

2. Treatment recommendations

Photodynamic therapy (photosensitive laser therapy) involves first injecting a photosensitizer into the patient's blood vessels and then irradiating the hemangioma area with a black light or long-wave laser. After activation, the photosensitizer produces a photochemical reaction and causes photosensitive processes in the vascular endothelium and stroma of the hemangioma, causing occlusion of the vascular lumen to achieve the purpose of treating hemangioma, but this therapy must be strict during the treatment process.

Superconducting interventional treatment of hemangioma includes superconducting light wave intervention, superconducting radio frequency intervention, and ultrasound micro-mediated method. It is a treatment method that uses light waves, radio frequencies, drugs, or a combination of methods under the guidance of ultrasound according to the specific condition of the disease. The principle of treating hemangioma is to puncture a microcatheter as thick as a hair into the nutrient branch cavity and enlargement that causes the abnormal structure, and use ultrasound positioning to introduce light waves, radio frequency, drugs, etc. into the diseased tissue to block the nutrient supply of the tumor. At the same time, it changes the internal environment for cell survival. A large number of blood clots are formed in the cavities of the inner wall of the hemangioma and the cavity of the capillary hemangioma, which finally causes the hemangioma endothelial cells to lose their activity, and the hemangioma gradually disappears, finally achieving the purpose of cure.

3. Fire Needle Treatment for Hemangioma

When you prick the wound with a needle, there will be a huge amount of bleeding, which can cause excessive bleeding if not controlled properly. Don't rush to give the top of the lump an acupuncture needle. Instead, use the thin fire needle you bought to prick the edge of the tumor once and check the bleeding conditions. If the bleeding is not much, continue to prick with one or two more needles the next day, gradually increasing the dosage. Just observe gradually.

After acupuncture, observe the bleeding status. If you want to treat it with fire acupuncture, you must try it. Use fewer needles, not too deep, and do not cupping. Let it bleed slowly.

Sometimes when a hemangioma is punctured, a stream of blood will gush out. If you have never experienced this, it will be very scary. If you feel that the amount of bleeding is heavy, you should immediately press the needle hole with a cotton swab to temporarily control the bleeding. After pressing the needle hole and feeling that the bleeding has stopped, cover it with a Band-Aid. If it still bleeds after covering it, use acupressure or bandage it.
