Which razor shaves the best?

Under normal circumstances, men will grow beards, and some people grow thicker beards, especially on the cheeks. If they are not cleaned in time, it will affect a person's personal image. Therefore, most men will use a razor when shaving. However, there are many types of razors on the market. Different brands of razors have different shaving levels. So which razor shaves the cleanest?

There are two types of electric shavers, reciprocating shavers and rotary shavers.

Even razors cost from three to four figures. Generally, more expensive razors are closer and provide a better user experience. Why do some people buy such expensive razors but still find them not useful?

This involves the differences in individual beard growth. Some people have thick and coarse beards, which may be suitable for reciprocating razors, or even can only be shaved cleanly with a manual razor. In addition, softening and lubricating the beard is also an important step.

However, although the reciprocating razor has a good closeness and clean shave, when it comes to the chin, the rotary razor may be better. Therefore, when buying a razor, you should decide based on your beard growth and face shape, and not blindly pursue an expensive one.

The advantage of an electric shaver is that it is convenient and fast, but if you want to be clean and dignified, it is better to use a manual shaver and clean it carefully. Before shaving, cleanse and tone your face, then apply shaving foam or cream. Remember to rinse your face after shaving to avoid clogging your pores. It should be noted that if you have acne on your face, you should pay extra attention to the strength (although you should shave gently normally).

Speaking of it, the history of razors is very simple, mainly evolving from facial razors (some old barbers are still using them now), manual razors and electric razors. Regardless of whether the razor is good or bad, whether you can shave well or not depends on whether you have chosen the right tool.

How to use an electric shaver correctly

A. When connecting the power supply, pay attention to the polarity of the dry battery or charger to prevent the motor from reversing and damaging the fixed blade and the moving blade;

B. When shaving, you should push the fixed blade close to your face and slowly move it against the direction of beard growth to allow the beard to enter the mesh smoothly. If you move along the beard, it will overwhelm the beard and make it difficult for the beard to enter the mesh;

C. Electric shavers are not suitable for shaving long beards, so it is best to shave once every 4 days or so. If your beard is very long, you should first trim it short with clippers or scissors, and then shave it with an electric shaver.

If there are no clippers or small scissors, you should use the multiple shaving method. First, let the fixed blade (net cover) touch the skin at a vertical direction with the beard to shave the beard shorter, and then follow the method 2.

D. When using an electric shaver with clippers, the blade of the clippers should be kept at a vertical angle to the face to shave the beard cleanly.

E. If the shaving stops, turn off the power and restart it, and continue shaving after the motor rotates normally.

F. The fixed blade of the electric shaver is very thin, so do not force it to deform or damage it;

G. For dry-cell electric shavers, the batteries should be removed after use or when they are not used for a long time to prevent the batteries from getting damp and leaking, which may cause unnecessary corrosion damage.

For AC electric shavers, the power supply should be cut off and the plug should be unplugged after use to ensure safety. Rechargeable electric shavers should not be allowed to discharge too much. If the battery is low, they should be charged before use. If they are not used for a long time, they should also be charged regularly (about three months).

H. Add a small amount of lubricating oil to the bearing regularly to reduce wear. Non-wet electric shavers should not be cleaned with water or volatile chemicals such as alcohol. If the blade of a non-stainless steel blade is not used for a long time, a thin layer of oil should be applied on the blade to prevent rust and damage to the blade;

I. After using the shaver each time, use a small brush to clean away the hair and other dirt. Do not allow the dirt to accumulate, otherwise the motor will get stuck or the transmission will be blocked. At the same time, once dandruff and skin oil solidify on the blade, it will affect the sharpness of the blade.
