Is eczema hereditary? Skin remedies

Eczema is the most common skin disease, but it is divided into many types. Some are hereditary eczema. Hereditary eczema means that this problem has occurred at a certain stage or age, so it is not surprising that you will have it. The inheritance of eczema and related folk remedies need to be checked before you know.

Eczema is the most common skin disease named after the characteristic rash. It is not hereditary and is particularly common in children, accounting for 10%-30% of initial dermatological cases.

Eczema is a common allergic inflammatory skin disease characterized by polymorphic rash, exudative tendency, symmetrical distribution, easy recurrence and chronicity, and severe itching.

Etiology and epidemiology:

The cause of the disease is relatively complex. It is currently believed to be an allergic disease, a type IV hypersensitivity reaction. Allergens can come from the outside or from within the body. External allergens include chemicals, cosmetics, dyes, toxins from certain animals, foreign proteins such as eggs, fish, shrimp, milk, and certain pollen, dust, etc. Internal allergens such as body lesions, intestinal parasitic diseases, certain metabolic, endocrine or digestive tract disorders, and certain tissues of the human body, under the influence of certain factors, change their composition and form autoantibodies.

It is especially common in children.

Modern medical pathology:

Most patients with eczema have allergic constitutions, and some people have found that allergic constitutions are related to hereditary IgA deficiency. In addition, when the body is in a state of excessive fatigue or mental stress, a series of corresponding changes occur in the nervous and endocrine systems, which increase the skin's susceptibility to various stimuli through neural reflexes or endocrine influences, contributing to the occurrence of eczema.

Analysis of etiology and pathogenesis in traditional Chinese medicine:

This disease is often caused by improper diet, alcoholism or excessive consumption of spicy and fishy foods that cause wind, which damage the spleen and stomach, causing the spleen to fail to function properly, resulting in internal accumulation of dampness and heat, and external invasion of rheumatism and heat. The two evils inside and outside fight against each other, fill the pores, and penetrate the skin to cause this disease. Or it may be due to physical weakness, spleen dampness and skin malnutrition. Or it may be due to long-term accumulation of dampness and heat, which consumes yin blood, turns into dryness and generates wind, resulting in blood deficiency, wind-dryness, and cracked skin and nails.
