My stomach feels stuffy and I can't breathe

The stomach plays a very important role in the human body. Once there is a problem with the stomach, it is easy for people to feel uncomfortable all over the body. There are many problems that can occur in the stomach. Sometimes it is stomach discomfort caused by indigestion, and sometimes it is stomach pain caused by improper diet. But some people feel that they sometimes feel suffocated. What is the reason for this?

If the stomach is always stuffy and short of breath, what is the general cause? If the stomach is always stuffy, the area is usually the precordial area. At this time, you also need to understand whether the patient has symptoms of chest pain or chest pain with a squeezing feeling. At this time, the first thing to rule out is whether the patient has coronary heart disease, because some patients have symptoms of coronary heart disease also located under the xiphoid process pain or stuffiness. First of all, it is recommended that the patient have an electrocardiogram. If there is no obvious abnormality in the electrocardiogram, the presence of coronary heart disease can be basically ruled out, and there may still be digestive tract problems.

If you feel shortness of breath and stuffiness in your stomach, the first thing you should consider is chronic atrophic gastritis. Atrophic gastritis is mostly caused by the transformation of chronic superficial gastritis due to inadequate or misdiagnosis. The gastric mucosa becomes thinner to varying degrees and is often accompanied by symptoms such as intestinal metaplasia, inflammatory reaction and atypical hyperplasia. Clinical manifestations of indigestion symptoms include loss of appetite, belching, abdominal distension, hiccups, heartburn, stomach pain, etc. It is recommended to go to the gastroenterology department of the hospital for a gastroscopy, take some digestive aids, eat a light diet, have a regular diet, chew slowly, and quit smoking, drinking, and spicy food.

If it is gastritis, whether there is stomach pain or not is not consistent with the progression of the stomach pain, and there may even be painless gastric ulcers. Therefore, the more severe the discomfort symptoms are, the more serious the condition is. Take some metoclopramide to help gastric motility, pay attention to a light diet, eat more soft and easily digestible foods, avoid overeating, pay attention to chewing slowly, and eat small meals frequently.
