I didn't get hurt but I have bruises

The capillaries under the human skin are very fragile. If they are impacted by external force, it can easily cause poor blood circulation and lead to blood stasis. So when observed with the naked eye, it appears as a blue spot on the skin. However, many people find that they have bruises all over their bodies even if they haven’t hit anything, and usually, these bruises don’t cause pain. So what is the cause of bruises even though you didn't hit anything?

I believe many people have experienced this situation: they don’t fall or bump into anything normally, but suddenly find bruises on their body and they don’t feel any pain. You may also think: "I didn’t fall or bump into anything, so how come there are bruises?" In fact, bruises are generally caused by the following reasons.

Blood stasis

If you lack exercise for a long time, your blood circulation will be poor, which will lead to poor blood circulation in the body. When the blood is concentrated in a certain place, bruising will occur. The bruises caused by blood stasis are generally large. If such bruises occur, it is best to get a check-up.

Excessive blood impurities

Generally speaking, sudden bruises on the human body are related to blood. If there are too many impurities in the blood, this situation may also occur. Our body has many tiny blood vessels. If there are impurities in the blood, it will cause blockage, resulting in bruises. You should drink plenty of water to remove waste from the blood.

Abnormal blood vessel wall function

It may be due to physical reasons or lack of some trace elements in the body, which will cause the capillaries to become more fragile and will burst if you are not careful, causing purpura or bruises on the body. Therefore, sometimes bruises appear on the body, it is likely that there is a problem with blood vessel function.

Thrombocytopenia

Also, if the number of platelets is abnormal, it will cause abnormalities in the body. If the platelet count is low, when there is a small bump on the body, it cannot stop bleeding in time and bruises will appear on the body. Many people will experience this phenomenon, where bruises appear due to a decrease in platelets. This is actually a signal your body is sending you.

Generally speaking, if there is no bump but bruises appear, it is basically due to the above four reasons. If this phenomenon persists, it is recommended that you go to the hospital for a check-up to see if there are other problems.
