What are the side effects if the rash has not completely come out?

Rash is a very common skin disease and is contagious to a certain extent. Many people develop rashes, which gradually recover on their own after they break out. What side effects will there be if the rash does not break out completely? In fact, we must first find out what caused the rash, such as whether it is caused by taking medicine or by allergies. Only by finding out the cause can we better treat it. Paying more attention to hygiene and strengthening physical exercise can effectively avoid the occurrence of rashes.

If a person who is not allergic suddenly develops a rash on his skin, he should pay more attention to the cause of the rash. Generally speaking, many patients develop skin rashes due to colds, joint pain, heart problems, etc. Sometimes drug rashes may occur as a side effect of taking inappropriate medications. In this case, it is best to go to a traditional Chinese medicine hospital as soon as possible.

Traditional Chinese medicine bath therapy is generally very effective in treating skin rashes:

Chinese medicine bath prescription: Sophora flavescens, Rehmannia root, Atractylodes macrocephala, Cnidium monnieri, Kochia scoparia, Stemona bulbus, Angelica dahurica, Phellodendron chinense, Saposhnikovia divaricata, dried ginger, honeysuckle, wild chrysanthemum, and ancient prescription for dehumidifying powder.

Medicinal bath method: Put the above medicines into 3000 ml of water and boil for 20 minutes, filter out the residue, let it dry to about 38°C, and bathe the affected area. 30 to 50 minutes each time, once every other day. For more serious cases, start with once a day, and after one week change to once every other day. Do not accidentally overheat the water when bathing, and prevent medicine from entering the ears.

Rash, also known as measles, is an acute respiratory infectious disease caused by the measles virus. It is highly contagious, and more than 90% of susceptible people will develop the disease after contact. The main clinical features are fever, cough, runny nose, conjunctivitis, catarrhal rhinitis, conjunctivitis, oral mucosal plaques (Koplik's spots) and systemic erythematous maculopapular rash.

What to do if you have a long-term rash?

The disease is highly contagious and is prone to epidemics in densely populated areas where vaccination is not widespread. The epidemic mainly threatens children under 5 years old, but adults also become ill, with an epidemic occurring about every 2 to 3 years. If you have a rash, you can treat it with the following methods:

1. General treatment

Rest in bed, maintain appropriate temperature and humidity in the room, and ventilate frequently to keep the air fresh. When there are symptoms of photophobia, the light in the room should be soft; give easily digestible, nutritious food and replenish sufficient water; keep the skin and mucous membranes clean, and the mouth should be kept moist and clean. You can rinse your mouth with salt water and repeat it several times a day. Once a rash appears on the palms and soles of the feet, it means that the rash has completely broken out and the patient has entered the recovery period. Observe your condition closely and see a doctor immediately if complications occur.

2. Symptomatic treatment

In case of high fever, a small amount of antipyretic can be used; in case of irritability, sedatives such as phenobarbital can be given appropriately; in case of severe cough, antitussive and anti-inflammatory drugs can be used; and in case of secondary bacterial infection, antibiotics can be given. Children with measles have a high requirement for vitamin A. The World Health Organization recommends that children with measles in vitamin A-deficient areas should supplement vitamin A.

3. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that measles is caused by heat and toxins accumulated in the lung and spleen meridians. The treatment principle is to expel the evil spirits during the initial fever period, and use pungent and cool medicines to penetrate the surface. Xuan Du Fa Xi Tang or Sheng Ma Ge Gen Tang can be used with modifications. External rash-clearing drugs can be used to promote the appearance of the rash. Use 15g each of raw ephedra, coriander seeds, willow of Xihe River, and purple duckweed, put them in a pot and boil them, and use the hot steam to steam the patient. After the medicine juice has cooled slightly, you can use it to wipe the face, neck, limbs, etc. to help the rash appear. Pay attention to keeping warm and prevent burns.

During the visible stage (rash stage), treatment should focus on clearing heat, detoxifying and clearing the rash. In addition to continuing to use external rash-clearing drugs for steaming and washing, you can take clearing heat and clearing the surface soup internally. For patients with severe heat symptoms, Sanhuang Gypsum Soup or Rhinoceros Horn and Rehmannia Soup can be used. People with weak body, pale face and cold limbs should use Ginseng Baidu Drink or Buzhong Yiqi Decoction. During the recovery period (recovery period), when the fever and rash subside, it is advisable to nourish yin and clear away heat. You can take Adenophora and Ophiopogon Decoction or Bamboo Leaf and Gypsum Decoction with modifications.
