1. Why does anxiety disorder cause soreness and chest tightness in the ribs?

Human beings have five internal organs, which transform five kinds of qi to produce joy, anger, sorrow, worry and fear. Therefore, joy and anger hurt qi, cold and heat hurt the body. Violent anger hurts yin, and violent joy hurts yang. "Anxiety disorder belongs to the category of internal injury in traditional Chinese medicine, and most patients have a history of emotions or are induced by unsatisfied emotions. The key among emotions is anger (of course, it does not mean that other minor emotions will not cause diseases). Anger hurts the liver. The liver meridian runs along the two sides of the ribs. If the liver meridian qi is not smooth, the ribs will be swollen and the chest will be stuffy. The liver and spleen are adjacent, wood and earth are in conflict, and the liver qi is reversed, then the spleen and stomach will not rise and fall properly, and the liver and spleen will be in disharmony. The spleen is responsible for ascending the clear, which is the foundation of the acquired constitution and the source of qi and blood production. If the spleen is not healthy and there is no source for ascending and transformation, the acquired qi will be insufficient. The large air accumulated in the chest is the zong qi, and if the zong qi is insufficient, the chest will be stuffy.

2. How to relieve anxiety

Method 1: Get enough sleep

Getting plenty of rest and sleep is a good way to reduce anxiety.

Method 2: Stay optimistic

When you lack confidence, think about your past achievements or imagine yourself successful. You will quickly resolve anxiety and uneasiness and regain your confidence.

Method 3: Fantasy

This is a great way to relieve tension and anxiety. Imagine yourself lying on a sunny beach with a cool ocean breeze blowing. Give it a try, you may get unexpected results.

Method 4: Deep breathing

When you are facing emotional stress, you might as well take a deep breath, which can help relieve stress and eliminate anxiety and tension.

Method 5: Distract your attention

If the work at hand makes you upset and nervous, you can temporarily divert your attention and turn your gaze to the window, so that your eyes and other parts of the body can relax in time, thereby temporarily relieving the pressure in front of you. You can even get up and walk around to temporarily escape the low mood at work.
