Because meat contains a large number of blood vessels, there may be blood in the meat we buy, so it needs to be carefully cleaned before cooking. But some people can still see red blood in cooked meat. So, what's the matter with the blood in the cooked meat?

There is no need to worry about this situation. It is a blood vessel distributed in the fat and there is no problem.

Meat cleaning

1. Clean the pork

Normally, when many of us wash pork, we probably just rinse it with clean water and rub it a few times at most. After washing the basin and hands, they become greasy, which is very annoying.

The editor will teach you a good method, which ensures that not only the pork is washed clean, but also your hands and basin are clean and refreshed, and it can also wash away a lot of dirt, killing two birds with one stone!

What you need is very simple - rice water! Put the pork in the rice washing water and soak it for five minutes. Then we will find that a lot of dirt floats on the surface of the rice washing water. Then, just rinse the pork under the tap.

2. Clean the liver

Pork liver has a peculiar smell. You can first soak it in clean water to remove the blood, then tear off the thin film, and finally wrap it in flour and rub it. Not only will the odor be gone, but the fried pork liver will also be smoother and more tender.

3. Clean the large intestine

Many people like to eat internal organs such as large intestine and chicken gizzards, but they are afraid that they cannot be cleaned properly. Not only are they dirty, but they also have a peculiar smell. After general treatment, you can add fine salt and rice vinegar, rub it several times, and then add some flour to wipe it. If you are still not sure, you can use cooking wine or white vinegar and add a little water, scrub it again, and finally rinse it clean.

4. Clean the fish

Some people say that if you wash fresh fish several times, the fishy smell will disappear. In fact, no matter how many times you wash it, the fishy smell will still remain. However, we can reduce some of the fishy smell as much as possible. First, gut the fish, clean it, and put it in cold water. Then pour a small amount of vinegar and pepper into the water. This way, the fish will have much less earthy smell. Alternatively, you can scrub it with rice water, and pour two tablespoons of vinegar into the cold water. This way, the fish will be clean without being too fishy.

In addition, eels and catfish live in an environment with a lot of mud and dirt, so the fish meat always has a muddy smell. After buying them home, you can use clean water to keep them for a few days. If you find it troublesome, you can also soak them in salt water with a higher concentration, and the muddy smell will be gone.

In addition, if you accidentally break the fish gallbladder when cleaning the fish's internal organs, the bile will stick to the fish meat and is very bitter and insoluble in water. You can sprinkle a little baking soda in the water, then soak and clean the fish, and there will be no bitter taste.

5. Clean seafood

Seafood is delicious but difficult to clean, especially crabs and shellfish. Simply soaking them in water will not clean the dirt in them. The correct cooking method is to first wash the crab's shell with salt water, then soak the crab in light salt water to allow it to spit out the dirt in its stomach; then change the water several times to ensure it is clean.

While the shellfish are soaking in water, you can put a kitchen knife or other iron tool in the water. The shellfish will spit out the mud and sand after smelling the smell. It usually takes 2 to 3 hours.
