How to reduce ear inflammation

How to reduce ear inflammation

There are many patients with otitis media and external auditory canal infection in life. The reason why these patients get this disease is mostly because they often pick their ears in life. Although earwax will affect everyone's hearing, earwax also has a protective effect on the ears. The tools we use to pick our ears are generally not disinfected, so it is particularly easy to cause external auditory canal infection. So how do we reduce ear inflammation?

Chronic ear inflammation is common in chronic suppurative ear inflammation.

1. Cold: When you have a cold, the body's resistance is reduced, and the bacteria can easily spread from the inflammation of the nasopharynx through the Eustachian tube to the middle ear and multiply, causing ear inflammation.

2. Swimming: Swimming in an unclean swimming pool can easily cause bacteria to invade the middle ear through sewage, spread and multiply, causing ear inflammation.

3. Improper ear picking: Some people have the bad habit of frequently picking earwax, which often damages the eardrum due to excessive force, causing bacteria to invade the middle ear and multiply, causing ear inflammation.

Most ear inflammations are caused by otitis media, which can cause perforation of the eardrum. After the pus flows out, symptoms such as ear pain will be relieved. If the treatment is not timely or effective, it can easily turn into chronic otitis media. Chronic suppurative otitis media is commonly known as "stinky ears". If acute suppurative otitis media is not cured in time and is delayed for more than six weeks, it is considered chronic suppurative otitis media. Therefore, once otitis media is discovered, it should be diagnosed and treated early.
