1. Rust removal with rice water

Rice water is a good natural cleaning tool. First, soak the rusty iron pot with thick rice water. After soaking for two hours, turn on the fire to boil the rice water. Stir it with a rag during the boiling process. After the rice water boils, turn off the fire, wait for the temperature of the pot to cool down, then pour out the rice water, then rinse with clean water to easily remove the rust on the iron pot.

2. Rust removal with vinegar

Aged vinegar is very effective in removing rust. We can heat the pan first and then turn off the heat. Then use a rag dipped in some vinegar to wipe the rusted area directly. Generally, the rust will fall off immediately.

3. Lard to prevent rust

When an iron pan is left unused for a long time, it will easily rust. At this time, we can clean the iron pan, wipe off the moisture in the pan with paper or rag, and then apply a layer of lard on it before placing it back. This can effectively prevent the iron pan from rusting due to long-term disuse.

4. Use white vinegar to prevent rust.

White vinegar is definitely a good thing for rusting iron pans. Heat the rusty iron pan, then use a rag dipped in vinegar to wipe the rusted area. The rust will be gone in one wipe. It is simple, quick and thorough. Don't wash the pot too clean after each use. Leaving some oil can effectively prevent rust.

5. Use edible salt to prevent rust.

Salt is not just a seasoning, it also has an immediate effect on dealing with rust on iron pans. Put a little salt in the pot, fry until it turns yellow, rub the pot with salt, then brush the pot clean, then put in clean water and a spoonful of hot oil, boil and pour out, the rust can be removed.
