Early symptoms of syphilis

Early symptoms of syphilis

As society becomes more and more open, relationships between people are becoming more and more fluid, so it is often very easy for mistresses to destroy families. At this time, sexual relations will also become more open. Increasingly chaotic interpersonal relationships will lead to the proliferation of sexually transmitted diseases in life. Syphilis is a relatively common sexually transmitted disease. So what are the early symptoms of patients with syphilis?

syphilis

1. Primary syphilis occurs 2 to 3 weeks after unclean sexual intercourse, mostly in the genital area, in the foreskin, coronal sulcus, and frenulum of the penis in men, and in the labia majora and minora or cervix in women. The chancre is 1 to 2 cm in diameter, round or oval, slightly higher than the skin surface, with mild erosion or shallow ulcers on the surface, a small amount of secretions, flesh-red or dark red in color, painless and itchy, and has a cartilage-like hardness when palpated. Usually single shot, but can also be multiple shots. The inguinal lymph nodes or lymph nodes adjacent to the diseased area may be swollen, usually several in number, of varying sizes, hard in texture, non-adhesive, non-ulcerated, and painless.

2. Secondary syphilis usually occurs 8 to 12 weeks after infection. Early symptoms include flu-like syndrome and swollen lymph nodes throughout the body. The rash is polymorphic, including macules, papules, scaly rash, pustular rash, etc. It is often widespread and symmetrical, with dark red spots and desquamative maculopapules on the palms and soles. The rashes on the vulva and perianal area are mostly moist papules and flat warts, which are painless and itchy. Moth-like alopecia may occur on the head. The skin lesions of secondary recurrent syphilis are limited and the number is small. An annular rash may be seen, mucosal spots may occur in the mouth, and mild discomfort and superficial lymphadenopathy may occur throughout the body.

3. Tertiary syphilis is also called late syphilis, which refers to a history of primary or secondary syphilis and a disease duration of more than 2 years. Symptoms include nodular rash and near-joint nodules, gum-like swellings of the skin, mucous membranes, and bones. The digestive system is mostly affected by hepatic syphilis, and the cardiovascular system is affected by simple

In fact, many people know that syphilis can be cured.

But the problem is that it must be discovered in the early stages. In the late stages, it can be cured, but the organic damage that syphilis causes to the body is difficult to change. For example: joint damage, nerve damage, skin scar changes, etc.

The common symptoms of primary syphilis are chancre, a painless red inflammatory nodule that mostly occurs on the genitals. It is painless and itchy, and the local lymph nodes are swollen. If not treated during this period, the nodule will disappear on its own.

Secondary syphilis may cause fever, muscle pain, joint pain, sore throat, and papules on the body. Syphilis at this stage can heal on its own if not treated.

Early syphilis is highly contagious, 95% of which is transmitted through sexual intercourse, and kissing can also be transmitted.

Early symptoms of syphilis may resolve on their own

So you will find that early syphilis can disappear on its own, and if you don't pay attention, you won't find it. In the late stage, when the skin, joints, and nerves are damaged, it is difficult to recover to normal. Even if the syphilis spirochetes in the blood are eliminated, the organic changes cannot be restored. Therefore, you must keep yourself clean and prevention is the most important thing.
