[Pharmacology and Toxicology] This product is a statin lipid regulating drug and an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor. It is inactive itself. Its hydrolysis product after oral absorption competitively inhibits hydroxymethylglutaryl-CoA reductase, the rate-limiting enzyme in the cholesterol synthesis process in the body, thereby reducing the synthesis of cholesterol and increasing the synthesis of low-density lipoprotein receptors. Pharmacokinetics

Adverse Reactions

3. Rare adverse reactions include impotence and insomnia.
