Will eating figs cause internal heat?

Figs can improve your sub-healthy physical condition, especially when you feel constipated. You can eat this food, which can slightly promote intestinal peristalsis and prevent the chance of cancer. However, you can't eat too much figs. If you consume too much at one time, your body will have some reactions of getting angry.

1. Figs are rich in nutrients and are edible. It can be used as a food laxative in case of constipation. The latex of the tree contains components that inhibit transplanted sarcoma in rats (when injected).

2. The substance obtained by treating the water extract of the dried fruit with activated carbon and acetone has an anti-Ehrlich sarcoma effect.

3. The milk obtained from unripe fruits can inhibit transplanted sarcoma in rats and spontaneous breast cancer in mice, causing tumor necrosis; it can also delay the development of transplanted adenocarcinoma, myeloid leukemia, and lymphosarcoma, causing them to degenerate. Intravenous injection of 0.02 ml (rats) or 0.05 ml (rabbits) of this milk can cause immediate death of the animals, and autopsy shows damage to the visceral capillaries.

The situation is similar when injected intraperitoneally; subcutaneous injection can cause local necrosis; oral administration is non-toxic. Its petroleum ether and ether extracts have a hypotensive effect on rabbits, cats and dogs, and their breathing is slightly stimulating; in the cat's nictitating membrane test, there is no ganglion blocking effect. The mechanism of antihypertensive effect may be peripheral. Intravenous injection of an aqueous extract of polycarp, or an extract extracted with petroleum ether and then treated with ether, has a hypotensive effect on anesthetized rabbits and cats.

Fig belongs to the Moraceae family. The fruit is rich in glucose, fructose, sucrose, citric acid and a small amount of malic acid, succinic acid, etc. Its dried fruits, unripe fruits and plant latex all contain anti-tumor ingredients. The latex also contains starch saccharifying enzyme, esterase, lipase, protease, etc. The results of modern research show that figs have a certain laxative effect and can be used as a food laxative in case of constipation; the water extract of the dried fruit has an anti-tumor effect after processing; and animal experiments have shown that figs have a certain antihypertensive effect.

When the fruit is ripe, pick the fresh fruit, dry it, grind it into fine powder, and blow it into the throat to treat sore throat. Use 5-7 figs, boil them in water, and drink the juice and fruits together to treat long-term diarrhea. Eat fresh figs raw, or use 10 dried figs, add a section of pig large intestine, boil in water and take orally. It can treat hemorrhoids, prolapse of the anus, and constipation. Use an appropriate amount of fresh or dried figs, add rock sugar, and stew in water. It can be used to treat dry throat and hoarseness caused by lung heat. Mash fresh figs to extract about half a cup of juice, mix it with boiling water and drink it once a day for several days. It can relieve the symptoms of asthma attacks.
