Blackheads in the ears

Blackheads in the ears

The blackheads in the ears are first considered to be caused by excessive secretion of the body's sebaceous glands. It may also be caused by folliculitis. If the hair follicles are excessively keratinized, it may also induce blackheads in the ears. Keep your skin clean at ordinary times. If it is a pathological factor, you need to take medication as prescribed by your doctor.

1. Sebaceous gland secretion: If the body's male hormone is relatively high, or the diet is oily or spicy, it may lead to increased sebaceous gland secretion. The ears are relatively difficult to clean, which may lead to accumulation of sebaceous glands, causing blackheads in the ears. Generally, it can be improved by more cleaning, or it can be solved by drugs that control sebaceous gland secretion, such as retinoic acid, isotretinoin, etc.

2. Folliculitis: If you have bad living habits or apply glucocorticoid drugs for a long time, it will usually lead to the occurrence of folliculitis, which will cause local pain, redness and swelling, and may also be accompanied by blackheads. You can apply fusidic acid ointment, mupirocin ointment and other drugs for treatment;

3. Excessive keratinization of hair follicles: The cause of excessive keratinization of hair follicles is still unclear. It is usually caused by genetics, or it may be caused by relatively rapid epidermal keratinization and epidermal cell production. It generally causes a red blush on the skin surface, and the color will gradually turn darker. Blackheads may also appear in the ears, but it can be treated with topical medications such as retinoic acid cream.
