Red spots on the soles of feet

Red spots on the soles of feet

Red spots on the soles of your feet may be due to allergies, excessive moisture or athlete's foot.

1. Allergy: If a person's skin resistance is relatively weak, after contact with animal hair or pollen in daily life, it is easy to cause skin irritation and skin inflammation. There may be papules with red dots, accompanied by itching symptoms. You can take oral anti-allergic drugs, such as cetirizine or loratadine, to promote recovery.

2. Excessive moisture: If there is too much moisture in the body or if you stay in a humid environment for a long time, eat spicy or cold food, your skin will become damp and susceptible to bacterial infection. There may also be red spots. You can usually choose acupuncture and cupping for treatment, which can promote personal metabolism, help to quickly expel moisture from the body, and relieve symptoms of sore waist and knees or general weakness.

3. Athlete's foot: Athlete's foot may be caused by fungal infection. It may be caused by frequently wearing non-breathable shoes, such as rubber shoes, or using slippers in public places. It may be obviously contagious and cause red spots to grow on the soles of the feet. In severe cases, there may be symptoms of skin ulcers. You can take oral antifungal drugs, such as terbinafine hydrochloride tablets, for treatment.
