Acne on the back and buttocks

Acne on the back and buttocks

In life, many people will have endocrine disorders after entering puberty due to the increase of sex hormones in the body. At this time, various kinds of acne will appear on the body. It is better if the acne is not on the face. It will affect the appearance if it grows on the face. Some people will also have some acne on the back and buttocks. These acne will make patients feel itchy. So what is the matter with acne on the back and buttocks?

This is because the weather is hot and people often sit for long periods of time, causing local skin to become damp, stuffy, and non-breathable, which can lead to fungal infections caused by the stuffiness.

1. Don’t wear tight pants when it’s hot, wear loose and breathable cotton pants. It is best not to sit often, try to stand as much as possible.

2. Drink more water. Avoid drinking alcohol, eat more green vegetables, and keep bowel movements smooth, which will help improve the condition; eat light food and avoid foods that easily cause inflammation;

3. Prevention: In summer, you can use mahjong mats or bamboo mats for ventilation and cooling to reduce sweat infiltration and avoid local pore infection.

This type of skin is very prone to acne, so you must do a good job of cleansing. It should be cleaned at least 3 times a day, and the cosmetics you choose should not be oily. The key point is not to squeeze the pimples with your hands, otherwise it will leave acne marks. Also, is the reason for the pimples on your butt because you sit for too long? The pants you choose should also be breathable; I used to have constipation, so I made sure to drink plenty of water, eat more vegetables (especially green leafy vegetables) and fruits, and drink honey water.

Initially, small red, swollen and painful nodules appear locally, which gradually swell and become cone-shaped. After a few days, the center of the nodule becomes soft due to tissue necrosis, and small yellow-white pus plugs appear; the area of redness, swelling, and pain expands. After a few more days, the pus plug falls off, the pus is discharged, and the inflammation gradually disappears and heals. Antibiotic ointment, such as mupirocin ointment, can be applied externally. When there is a pus head, apply carbolic acid on the top. When there is fluctuation, drainage should be performed as soon as possible. Immature boils should not be squeezed to avoid spreading the infection.

Antibiotics should be used systemically in the following four situations:

1. Folliculitis is located around the nose, in the nasal cavity or in the external auditory canal.

2. Large or recurrent furunculosis.

3. There is cellulitis around the lesions.

4. The skin lesions do not respond to local treatment.

Drugs that are sensitive to the pathogens, such as penicillin, cephalosporins, macrolides, and clindamycin, should be given.
