Clinical symptoms and signs vary depending on the type and site of infecting parasites and the immune status of the human host.

2. Patients with pinworm infection may experience significant itching of the skin of the anus and perineum;

3. Ascaris patients mainly show symptoms such as loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, and teeth grinding;

4. In the early stage of hookworm infection, the infected area may feel itchy and burning, resulting in small bleeding spots, papules and small maculopapular rashes, which may disappear after a few days. Scratching can easily lead to secondary local bacterial infection and lymphadenopathy. Patients often have symptoms such as coughing, sore throat, and hoarseness 3 to 5 days after infection, but most of them will disappear on their own after a few days.
