Walking is our most basic choice for travel. We need to walk every day, and walking to lose weight is also a hot topic now. But sometimes we may suffer from foot pain, blisters, etc. due to problems with shoes, road conditions, or walking too far. Although this is not a big problem, sometimes severe blisters may cause inconvenience and pain to our travel and walking. So, what are some ways to avoid or relieve blisters from walking? 1. How to deal with blisters caused by walking: 1. Don't think that the blister will be healed by puncturing it and letting the liquid in the blister flow out. On the contrary, you should try to keep the blisters intact, allow the liquid in the blisters to be absorbed by themselves, and allow the blister epidermis to dry, form scabs, and fall off on its own. 2. If the blisters are caused by shoes that are too tight or new shoes that are rubbed by the edges of the shoes, you should protect the blisters with gauze pads on the affected areas and change into appropriate shoes and socks. 3. If the blister is broken before the underlying skin has regenerated, the affected area should be cleaned and disinfected immediately and bandaged with clean gauze. 4. If the blisters are caused by burns or scalds, or if the blisters are large, you should take your child to the hospital and ask a doctor to treat it. 5. If the skin around the blisters becomes red and swollen or the blisters become purulent, it means that the skin at the blister site has been infected and the child should be taken to the hospital for treatment immediately. 6. If the blisters are caused by fungal infection, you should not only actively use medication for treatment, but also pay attention to cleaning your shoes and socks. Also pay special attention to ventilating and drying the shoe cabinet frequently. If the shoe cabinet cannot be moved, it should be regularly scrubbed with disinfectant or desiccant should be placed in to remove moisture. When cleaning the shoe cabinet, don't forget to wipe the shoes with a dry cloth and put some deodorizing bags made of spices, tea leaves, and bamboo charcoal in the shoes to eliminate germs and odors. 2. Prevent blisters from walking: 1. Wear comfortable, soft-soled and breathable shoes. Good shoes can cushion the contact between your feet and the ground when you walk. 2. Wear flexible socks. It is best not to wear short-necked socks. The socks should be higher than the contact surface between the heel and the shoe to prevent blisters caused by excessive friction due to walking. 3. Appropriate amount of exercise. It doesn't mean that the more you walk, the better. You should adjust the amount of exercise according to your physical condition to avoid injury during exercise. Brisk walking for 2 minutes. Repeat this walking method six times, and then finish with a relaxing walk for 5 minutes. Cross-training walking method: Walk at a moderate speed for 10 minutes, then walk quickly for 2 minutes and then stop, and finally relax and walk slowly for 10 minutes. |
