With the rise of tourism in recent years, many girls have chosen Tibet as their travel destination, an extremely sacred place. Especially some women who love art have a special affection for Tibet. But what do women need to prepare when traveling to Tibet? Although Tibet is a beautiful place, it also has certain dangers, so it is best for women to travel with companions and make more preparations. 1. The travel budget must be sufficient: Don’t believe what those people who travel to Tibet on a budget say, such as “Travel to Tibet on a budget for 88 yuan”. If you really want to “sleep the whole way”, you may be able to make a lot of money when you come back, and maybe bring back more than 8,888 yuan! 2. Don’t think about taking a hitchhike all the way to Tibet just to save money. If you are not good-looking, no one will give you a ride; if you are pretty, be careful that your car breaks down in a deserted place, as it cannot be repaired without a "service car". In such a remote place, when you are asked to make your own choice, it will be too late for you to regret! Of course there are good people, but can you guarantee that not everyone will have any bad intentions towards you? 3. If you want to be frugal and save money, you can lower your living standards, but don’t be shameless and go to Tibetans’ homes to eat and drink for free. Many Tibetans’ lives are not easy now. Looking at the old lady with wrinkles on her face, you will feel sorry for her just to save a little money! 4. Don’t take photos of yaks near the scenic area casually. If you take photos, someone will come to you and ask for money. The first question is 20. If you don’t give it, they will keep pestering you! This phenomenon is most serious in Namtso. Even if you take pictures of yaks with a telephoto lens, someone will immediately come to you and ask you for money. Even if you delete the photos, they may not give up on you easily! 5. Do not take photos of Tibetans’ faces directly without permission! In fact, if it were you, you wouldn’t want to be photographed! This is the most basic respect! 6. When you are on the road and see the pure eyes of the Tibetan children, their lovely faces, and their tattered clothes, your heart will melt and you will walk over to them immediately. However, you have to be careful. If you don’t give money or a lot of food, you won’t be able to leave. If you give money, a bunch of kids may come over too! This phenomenon is particularly serious in Ranwu Lake. On the way to Shangranwu Lake, be sure to prepare more food. Sometimes a group of children will block the middle of the road. If you don’t give them money or things, they will knock on the glass. You can’t get rid of them even if you give them a little. And you pay when you drive there, and you have to pay again when you come back after visiting the attractions! Maybe more than one batch! 39 What to prepare for Tibet As people are becoming more and more interested in traveling to Tibet, many travel agencies have launched Tibet tour activities. Most trips to Tibet take about a week, so what do you need to prepare for traveling to Tibet? In addition to being mentally prepared, it is best to learn more about Tibet travel guides on the Internet to see which attractions are must-sees. In addition, you must also make some preparations for your own safety. Preparation 1: Mental preparation. Search a lot of Tibet travel information on the Internet in advance and organize them one by one. The information mainly includes the introduction of various scenic spots in Tibet, precautions for traveling in Tibet, self-guided travel notes in Tibet, Tibet tourist map, temperature tables for each month in various regions of Tibet, altitudes of various regions in Tibet, and ticket prices for various paid scenic spots in Tibet. Read carefully, learn from the experiences and lessons of predecessors, and be fully prepared mentally. Preparation 2: Book in advance. The means of transportation to Tibet include trains and planes, but many people also choose to travel to Tibet by car or motorcycle. Because Lhasa is 3,650 meters above sea level, traveling to Tibet by train is a gradual process and is the transportation of choice for most people. Generally, you enter by train and exit by plane. You can choose according to your actual situation. Whether you choose to travel by train or plane, you need to book train tickets and air tickets in advance. Booking tickets is much more convenient now than in 2011. In addition, after arriving in Lhasa, traveling in Tibet usually involves chartering a car or carpooling. Preparation three: material preparation. Based on the information I found, I made a list of essential items for traveling to Tibet and prepared them one by one. If I didn’t have them yet, I quickly purchased them. The following are the items I prepared before going to Tibet. 1. Clothing: Fleece jacket (or down jacket), combat pants, thermal clothes and pants, sweater (optional, I brought one but didn’t use it), pajamas (very important), long-sleeved clothes and pants, underwear, waterproof wide-brimmed hat, dustproof headscarf (multi-purpose, can be used as a headscarf, scarf, mask, and can also be used to make a masked hero), hard-soled high-top rainproof and non-slip shoes, quick-drying socks (very useful), umbrella (or raincoat), slippers, and sunglasses. 2. Daily necessities: Toiletries (cups, toothbrushes, toothpaste, facial cleansers, towels), skin care products (toner, moisturizer), bath products (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, towels), laundry products (soap or laundry detergent), high-value sunscreen (index above 30, for professional outdoor sports), mosquito repellent, wind oil, flashlight (now mobile phones can also be used as flashlights), lipstick, mobile phone and camera chargers, batteries (spare for mobile phones, cameras, flashlights), power banks, portable thermos (I brought a large space cup, which is also very useful), paper towels (dry and wet), toilet paper, camera lens cleaning paper, USB flash drive, camera memory card. 3. Pharmaceuticals: I brought a lot of things with me, including Rhodiola rosea, Ganmaoqing, Baijiahei, ibuprofen, berberine, vitamin A, vitamin B6, vitamin C, Huoxiang Zhengqi capsules, Qumixin cream, band-aids, and later I also bought Shanlitong in Lhasa, which is a quick and effective medicine for treating headaches. (Note: Rhodiola rosea is available in capsules and oral solution, and needs to be taken 15 days in advance.) |
