Lumbar disc herniation is a disease with a high incidence rate in recent years. If lumbar disc herniation is not treated in time, it will have a great impact on people's daily work, study and work. In severe cases, people may not be able to take care of themselves. Long-term lumbar disc herniation will still compress the nerves, which will cause great harm to people's health. The earlier the treatment, the better for your health. Lumbar spine compression nerve rehabilitation method The reason why the lumbar spine compresses the nerves is because of the compression caused by the rupture of the vertebral annulus fibrosus, which generally causes radiating pain and numbness. General lumbar spine diseases are caused by protrusions. This disease is related to long-term sitting, muscle strain, cold, etc., and can generally be improved by acupuncture and massage. There are two treatments for lumbar disc herniation, rehabilitation therapy and surgical treatment. Rehabilitation therapy is also called conservative treatment. After surgical treatment, rehabilitation therapy is still needed to consolidate the therapeutic effect. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that "the waist is the viscera of the kidneys." Deficiency of kidney essence leads to malnutrition of the pelvis; all kinds of low back pain are caused by deficiency of kidney qi. The key to the occurrence of lumbar disc herniation is kidney qi deficiency and malnutrition of tendons and bones. It may be caused by falls, sprains, cold or dampness. The pathogenesis of low back pain is meridian obstruction and poor circulation of Qi and blood. Western medicine believes that the causes of lumbar disc herniation include both internal and external factors. The internal cause is degenerative lumbar disc disease; the external causes include strain, injury, cold and dampness, etc. Causes of lumbar disc herniation: 1. Trauma: Observation of clinical cases shows that trauma is an important factor in intervertebral disc herniation, especially in children and adolescents, where it is closely related. When the spine is lightly loaded and rotated rapidly, horizontal rupture of the annulus fibrosus may occur, while compressive stress mainly causes rupture of the cartilage endplate. 2. Occupation: Occupation is closely related to lumbar disc herniation. For example, car drivers are in a sitting and bumpy state for a long time, so when driving a car, the pressure in the intervertebral disc is high, which can reach 0.5kPa/cm2. When the control pedal is pressed, the pressure can increase to 1kPa/cm2, which can easily cause lumbar disc herniation. In addition, people who engage in heavy physical labor and weightlifting are more likely to suffer from intervertebral disc degeneration due to excessive load. If you lift a 20kg weight while bending over, the pressure inside the intervertebral disc can increase to more than 30kPa/cm2. 3. Congenital abnormalities of the lumbar sacral region: Deformities of the lumbar sacral segment can increase the incidence rate, including lumbar sacralization, sacral lumbarization, hemivertebra deformity, facet joint deformity and articular process asymmetry. The above factors can change the stress on the lower lumbar spine, thus becoming one of the factors that increase the intra-disc pressure and make it more susceptible to degeneration and injury. |
