I suddenly felt dizzy, nauseous and vomited while taking a shower

Many people suddenly feel dizzy when taking a shower. In fact, dizziness, nausea and vomiting after taking a shower are mostly caused by adrenal insufficiency, appendicitis, and overeating. Staying in the bathroom for a long time, due to exposure to smoke and poor air quality, are also the causes of these symptoms.

1. Adrenal insufficiency

Common symptoms of gastrointestinal disorders include nausea, vomiting, anorexia and diarrhea. Other symptoms include weakness, fatigue, weight loss, dull complexion, low blood pressure, and a slightly irregular pulse.

(ii) Anthrax (gastrointestinal type)

After the human body ingests animal meat infected with pathogens, the initial signs and symptoms include nausea, vomiting, anorexia, and fever. This may be followed by abdominal pain, severe bloody diarrhea, and vomiting of blood.

(III) Appendicitis

Abdominal pain may be accompanied by nausea, vomiting, or may occur afterward. The pain usually starts as a vague discomfort in or around the upper abdomen, then quickly develops into a sharp, stabbing pain a little lower down. Patients generally have the well-defined McBurner symptom—severe pain and tenderness from the umbilicus to the anterior 2/3 of the right ilium. Associated symptoms often include a hard, tender abdomen, anorexia, constipation, diarrhea, skin irritation, fever, ventricular tachycardia, and other symptoms.

(IV) Bulimia

Bulimia is common among women aged 18 to 29 and is characterized by spontaneous vomiting, fasting, or diarrhea, often accompanied by anorexia. Patients are usually lighter than normal but have a morbid fear of obesity. Spontaneous vomiting can usually be identified by calluses on the fingers or changes in the teeth (loss of enamel).
