How to wash off watercolor paint

We all know that it is easy for children to get watercolor paint on their clothes when they are learning to paint. Especially for some light-colored clothes, some watercolor paint looks really bad and is difficult to wash off. Often, a piece of clothing cannot be worn again after it is stained with color, so it is especially worrying for mothers. In fact, there are some tips to remove watercolor paint. So how to wash off watercolor paint?

Watercolor paint can be washed out with laundry detergent and alcohol.

1. When the clothes are dry, apply hand-washing detergent to the stain, completely cover the stain, and let it stand for 5 minutes (you can rub it gently);

2. Apply medical alcohol to the stain, allow it to completely soak, and leave it for 2 hours. If the stain disappears, rinse it clean; if the stain is still there after 2 hours, add appropriate amount of water to wet the entire garment and leave it overnight. Note: You can also use anhydrous alcohol. The higher the alcohol concentration, the better the washing effect.

3. If the watercolor pen stains cannot be removed by the above methods, you can choose

(1) For white cotton, linen and polyester clothing: Add one bottle cap (40g) of Blue Moon stain remover to half a basin of water (about 2L), stir well, soak the white clothing in the water for 30 minutes and rinse thoroughly. If the stains are still not removed after soaking for 2 hours, take out the clothes, add 1 bottle cap of this product to the basin, stir well, put the clothes in and continue soaking. The cumulative soaking time shall not exceed 6 hours.

(2) Other materials or colored clothes: Put the clothes in a basin with the stained part against the bottom of the basin. Use the colored bleach bottle cap to measure 1/4 bottle cap (10 grams) of colored bleach and 1/4 bottle cap (10 grams) of laundry detergent, pour them on the stained part, cover the stain with other unstained parts of the clothes to prevent it from drying out, let it sit for 2 hours, and rinse it clean. If the stain remains after 2 hours, add appropriate amount of water to wet the entire garment and leave it overnight.

If you get paint stains on your clothes, use the following methods to remove them:

1. Rinse and soak the stains with cold water first to dilute the stains as much as possible;

2. Apply the original Blue Moon laundry detergent to the stain, completely covering it. Let it sit for 5 minutes (you can gently scrub it), then add Blue Moon laundry detergent and wash it normally.

3. If the stains cannot be removed by the above methods,

(1) For white cotton, linen or polyester clothing: Add one bottle cap (40g) of Blue Moonlight White Clothes Stain Remover (600g specification) to half a basin of water (about 2 liters), stir well, soak the white clothing in it for 30 minutes, and rinse thoroughly. If the stains are still not removed after soaking for 2 hours, take out the clothes, add 1 bottle cap of this product to the basin, stir well, put the clothes in and continue soaking. The cumulative soaking time shall not exceed 6 hours.

(2) Colored and white clothing made of other materials: Place the clothing in a basin with the stained area against the bottom of the basin. Use the bottle cap of Blue Moonlight Colored Clothes Stain Cleaner (600g specification) to measure 1/4 bottle cap (10g) of Colored Clothes Stain Cleaner and 1/4 bottle cap (10g) of Blue Moon Collar Cleaner, pour them on the stained area, cover the stain with other unstained parts of the clothing to prevent it from drying out, let it sit for 2 hours, and rinse it clean. If the stain is still not removed after 2 hours, you can extend the standing time to overnight.

Note: White Clothes Stain Cleaner is suitable for white cotton, linen, polyester, polyester-cotton, and cotton-linen fabrics. Do not use it on silk, wool, spandex, nylon, and other clothing that cannot be bleached with chlorine. Do not use the original solution directly. Color Clothes Stain Remover is not suitable for easily faded clothes or dry-cleaned clothes. When using it, avoid contact with metal buttons, zippers, metal decorations on the clothes and avoid direct sunlight.
