The most direct reason is the loss of skin elasticity due to skin aging. Tips to prevent sagging eyelids: Open your eyes wide and move your eyeballs up and down for three to five minutes each time. It is best to do it every morning after waking up and before going to bed at night; washing your eyes frequently with fresh milk can make them bright.

1. Tea eye mask

6 grams of tea leaves and 60 mg of boiled water.

Put tea leaves (choose one of black tea, green tea, oolong tea, or scented tea) into a teacup. Pour boiling water (preferably around 80 degrees) into the teacup, cover and steep for 5 minutes. Apply sterilized gauze dipped in tea to the skin around the eye circles and remove it after 20 minutes. Apply this once in the morning and evening.

Effect: Remove dark circles and eye bags.

2. Oil melon eye mask

50g sesame oil, 200g cucumber. Squeeze the fresh cucumber juice and add sesame oil. Dip a sterilized cotton ball in the mixed juice, apply it on your eyelids before going to bed, and wash it off the next morning. Or use it alone, squeeze the cucumber juice, apply it on the eyelids before going to bed, and wash it off the next morning.

Eye bags are associated with sagging facial skin due to aging and drooping eyelids. Sesame oil is rich in vitamin E, which has the effect of resisting skin aging and sagging. Cucumber juice contains succinic acid, which can remove sebum and prevent fat from accumulating under the skin. Cucumber juice also contains B vitamins, which can smooth wrinkles and prevent skin sagging, so it can eliminate swelling around the eyes and bags under the eyes.

To prevent and improve sagging eyelids, you must do eye exercises. The method of eye exercises is to open your eyes as wide as possible and roll your eyeballs downward, and do it for 5 minutes every night.

It is necessary to reduce the time of using eyes and take a rest away from the computer screen every once in a while. At the same time, you can eat more foods containing carotene and foods rich in vitamins and protein, such as vegetables and fruits, animal liver, lean meat, beans and other foods.

Everyone will age, and time will definitely leave some marks on our faces, so we don’t need to worry too much, but it is necessary to strengthen exercise in daily life to slow down the aging process.

Causes of droopy upper eyelids

Causes of droopy upper eyelids

1. Myogenic factors

In myasthenia gravis, ptosis may be the only symptom, which may be bilateral or unilateral. Its characteristics are that the symptoms are milder in the morning and worse at night, and may sometimes be accompanied by weakness of other extraocular muscles.

2. Mechanical factors

Mainly due to inflammatory swelling of the upper eyelid, growth of lumps, excessive fat deposition, etc., the weight of the upper eyelid increases, and the levator palpebrae superioris muscle cannot fully lift the upper eyelid.

3. Neurogenic factors

If the patient suffers from sympathetic nerve paralysis and develops Horner's syndrome, it will cause slight drooping of the upper eyelids.

4. Congenital causes

It is generally believed to be related to genetics: mainly because the levator palpebrae superioris muscle used to lift the upper eyelid is not well developed, or the motor nerve that controls the muscle is not fully functional, resulting in the eyes being unable to open wide and the drooping eyelids covering part of the pupil.
