Cyanophobia

Cyanophobia

Cyanophobia is very common nowadays, but few people have heard of it. It is a psychological fear. Most patients are timid, a little shy, passive, dependent, and highly introverted before becoming ill. Such patients usually have a high level of awareness, are very sensitive, and have richer vigilance psychological activities, so this is blue phobia.

Quality reasons

Before the onset of the disease, the patient's personality is often timid, shy, passive, dependent, and highly introverted. They are prone to anxiety and fear, have obsessive tendencies, or have been overprotected by their mothers since childhood. As they become adults, they are prone to phobias.

Physiological causes

Some people have found that the arousal level of the nervous system of patients with phobias is increased. They are sensitive, alert, and often in a state of hyperarousal. However, it is difficult to distinguish the causal relationship between this physiological state and phobia, because sympathetic nerve excitement can be one of the symptoms of phobia. Clinical observations have found that anxiety states caused by various reasons can easily lead to fear. However, there is still insufficient evidence to prove that physiological factors are the cause of phobias.

Psychological causes

Research has shown that nearly two-thirds of patients actively trace their disease back to an event related to their illness. The conditioned reflex theory holds that when a patient encounters a certain fear-inducing stimulus, other non-fear-inducing stimuli (irrelevant stimuli) in the situation at that time also act on the patient's cerebral cortex at the same time. The two serve as a mixed stimulus to form a conditioned reflex. Therefore, whenever a patient encounters this situation in the future, even if there are only irrelevant stimuli, it can cause strong fear emotions.

Phobias are actually quite common around us. Although rare mental illnesses like "color phobia" are relatively rare, they may manifest themselves in other ways. If the phobia has affected your life or work, it is best to receive psychological treatment in a timely manner.
