Quickly eliminate hemorrhoid surgery

Hemorrhoids are a relatively common disease. Treatment for this disease includes medication and surgery. Many people will experience a feeling of heaviness and distension after hemorrhoid surgery. This situation makes many people very distressed. They don’t know the cause or how to eliminate this feeling of heaviness and distension. Generally speaking, the causes of anal swelling include postoperative congestion and edema, or it may be caused by infection. Depending on the cause, there will be different coping methods.

Analpendantexpansion refers to the feeling of wanting to defecate. In severe cases, it may manifest as tenesmus, that is, there is actually no stool to pass, but the urge to defecate is repeated. Anal distension is one of the more common complications after hemorrhoid surgery. The main manifestations are discomfort in the anus or a feeling of blockage and fullness, or frequent urge to defecate, increased number of bowel movements, or a feeling of urgency and heaviness in the anus.

The causes of anal swelling after surgery are roughly as follows:

1. Postoperative wound congestion, edema or inflammatory infection;

2. Too many or too tight ligatures on the anal canal wound, or too much electrocautery, or irritation caused by compression of the hemorrhoid stump;

3. Caused by built-in rubber band hanging wire or drainage tube;

4. Too much oil gauze or gauze is stuffed into the anus and rectum;

5. Incomplete treatment of internal hemorrhoids, resulting in swelling or prolapse;

6. The patient is not used to the wound at the anus and is always misled by the foreign body sensation.

How to deal with anal swelling:

1. The swelling caused by postoperative congestion and edema can be relieved after a few days with proper rest, massage or hot compress;

2. Anal swelling caused by infection can be improved by systemic or local anti-infection treatment;

3. For anal swelling caused by ligatures, patients should listen to the doctor's explanation patiently and wait for a few days for the ligatures to fall off or be removed, and the pain will be relieved;

4. If there is too much packing dressing, the doctor can reduce it appropriately and reduce the pressure in time, which will alleviate the symptoms of anal swelling;

5. Patients should train themselves mentally and physically to adapt to the temporary existence of anal wounds and gradually get used to them, which will help reduce or eliminate the feeling of heaviness and distension.

6. Avoid excessive local skin irritation and keep the local skin clean, and avoid spicy food. At the same time, eat more fruits and vegetables containing fiber to prevent constipation.
