How can pelvic inflammatory disease be detected

Many diseases have early symptoms, and many minor symptoms are ignored by people and fail to develop into diseases. Therefore, if female friends find any abnormalities in their bodies, including leucorrhea and menstrual abnormalities, they must go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment in time. Early detection of the disease can lead to early cure of the disease. If you suffer from pelvic inflammatory disease in the early stages, there will be some subtle symptoms. How can you detect it?

1. Posterior fornix puncture can be performed for pelvic inflammatory disease examination. The contents of the abdominal cavity or the rectouterine fossa obtained through puncture, such as normal peritoneal fluid, blood (fresh, old, clotted blood, etc.), purulent secretions or pus, can further clarify the diagnosis. Microscopic examination and culture of the punctured material are even more necessary.

2. Pelvic inflammatory disease is diagnosed using B-ultrasound. It mainly involves B-type or grayscale ultrasound scanning and filming. This technology has an 85% accuracy in identifying masses or abscesses formed by adhesions of the fallopian tubes, ovaries and intestines. However, mild or moderate pelvic inflammatory disease is difficult to show characteristics on B-mode ultrasound images.

3. Pelvic inflammatory disease examination to observe clinical features. Because the symptoms of pelvic inflammatory disease are rather specific, it can be diagnosed based on the patient's complaints.

Pelvic inflammatory disease can also be divided into acute pelvic inflammatory disease and chronic pelvic inflammatory disease. ①. Acute pelvic inflammatory disease Patients with acute pelvic inflammatory disease will experience dull pain in the lower abdomen, muscle tension, tenderness and rebound pain, a large amount of purulent secretions in the vagina, headache, chills, loss of appetite, leucorrhea with an unpleasant odor, etc. Some patients may also experience symptoms such as nausea, abdominal distension, vomiting, diarrhea, difficulty urinating, frequent urination, and painful urination.

②. Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease Women with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease may experience menstrual disorders, lower abdominal distension and pain, lumbar pain, infertility, etc. due to the lack of timely treatment of the inflammation.
