Product Usage

Methyl imazapic is mainly used for early post-emergence weeding in peanut fields. It has good activity against sedge weeds, millet weeds, Cassia tora, and Artemisia sophora japonica.

1. Weed control mechanism

Methiapiprolin is a systemic, selective post-emergence herbicide. The drug is mainly absorbed through the stems and leaves, but can also be absorbed through the roots. It inhibits the plant's acetolactate synthase, blocks the biosynthesis of branched-chain amino acids, thereby destroying protein synthesis, interfering with DNA synthesis and cell division and growth, and ultimately causing plant death.

2. Targets of control

It is mainly used for early post-emergence control of annual monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds and some perennial weeds in peanut fields. It has good activity against sedge weeds, millet weeds, cassia bark, and Artemisia selengensis.

3. Use of Technology

When the peanut has 2-4 pinnate leaves, use 20-30 ml of 24% aqueous solution per mu, mixed with 40 kg of water, and spray evenly.

IV. Precautions
