People's emotions are quite difficult to control, especially when they are impulsive. The whole person cannot be controlled and is prone to do something out of line. Of course, we have a lot of negative emotions. If we lack emotional self-control, these bad emotions will have a great impact on our decisions and judgments. However, emotional self-control can be cultivated and strengthened to a great extent, and this is also something that parents must pay attention to when educating their children.

If the left and right brains of a child develop unbalancedly, as well as the frontal lobe of a child, the child will have stronger emotional experiences. Stronger emotional experiences will cause the child's emotions to be more variable.

On the other hand, psychologically speaking, children are in a period of emotional autonomy during this period. Emotionally, children must gradually break away from their dependence on their parents and their parents' control, thereby forming their own emotional experiences. At this time, whether children are happy or not, they have obvious self-characteristics and use their own experiences and ideas to dominate their emotions. They think they have grown up and are unwilling to obey their parents like they did when they were children. They have their own opinions and thoughts, and they also pursue emotions and have emotional autonomy. In fact, boys and girls show some differences in their emotional ups and downs.

The age of twelve to eighteen is a critical transition period in a child’s emotional development. Before this period, children only have simple emotions and do not experience complex emotions. But in adulthood, their emotional experiences are rich and relatively stable. We have seen some adults who are easily emotional. These adults did not make a good transition during adolescence, which resulted in them being unable to control their emotions even in the adult world.

The transition period from simple to rich emotions of a child will cause his emotions to be very unstable. Therefore, it is normal for the child to have large mood swings and intense emotional reactions at this time. There are huge differences between boys and girls in the expression of emotions. Compared with girls, boys have stronger emotional intensity, are more easily stimulated to produce strong emotions, and are more irritable. Girls' emotional experiences are relatively delicate and rich.

Girls tend to express emotions more like: for example, they get sad when someone says something to them, and they hide away and cry secretly. Girls have the biggest mood swings between the ages of eleven and thirteen; boys have bigger mood swings between the ages of thirteen and fifteen. So we can see that there is often a balance stage in a class. If the boys and girls in a class are in a period of emotional development fluctuation at the same time. Class management is relatively more difficult. It happens that boys and girls have a mutual sense of identity during this period, and gain recognition from the opposite sex in their self-identity, so children's self-evaluation will be relatively high.

In fact, children’s emotions during this period are often a decisive factor in determining whether our family is harmonious, and whether family relationships or family atmosphere are good. However, emotions can be said to have been with us throughout our lives since we were born. Only between the ages of twelve and eighteen do children's interests become relatively strong, more exciting, and more prone to fluctuations. Therefore, we parents should pay more attention to children's emotions during this period.

When children are emotional, we parents should avoid them. Then use the parent's tolerance and acceptance to understand the child's emotions, help the child to a certain extent, and help him to work through his emotions. No matter whether the child's emotions are positive or negative, no matter whether you agree with him or not, we must try to accept him. When parents do not accept their children's emotions, the children will think that they should not have emotions, especially bad emotions, and that their anger, sadness, and depression may all be wrong.

In the long run, when a child has negative emotions, he will suppress or deny himself to escape this situation because his parents do not approve of it. Therefore, in serious cases, the child will have alexithymia when he grows up, that is, he will not be able to express his emotions well, which will affect his social life and social life.

Aleximothy disorder is very common in our generation, especially for men. We would say that this man is a blockhead, never says sweet words, doesn't react to anything, etc. It is often related to the growth environment of a generation, because the social environment of this generation is emotionally repressed. Therefore, each generation has different characteristics because of the influence of the social environment.
